Best lakes of Banff National Park in one day? Mission: Possible!
Thanks to the amazing advice of one of my subscribers we got to see Lake Louise, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake and maybe even Moraine Lake (watch the video to find out if we made it) in one day.
We hiked with our two toddlers and had the best time. Lakes of Alberta is something from National Geographic. And you can see them in just one day!

Peyto Lake, Lake Louise Gondola and Columbia Icefield - Banff Episode 3
The smoke finally cleared and we had a beautiful day in Banff exploring the Peyto Lake, the Athabasca Glacier (Columbian Icefield), and the gondola opposite Lake Louise.
The drive was really beautiful! We were really excited to see the Columbian icefield, and we were hoping to check out the skywalk, but it looked like that was run by a private company, so we skipped it.

Peyto Lake is located in Banff National Park near Bow Summit approximately 38Km north of Lake Louise on the Icefields Parkway. The lake itself is easily accessed from the Icefields Parkway. It was named for Bill Peyto, an early trail guide and trapper in the Banff area.
Glacial lakes have that beautiful turquoise color due to fine grained glacial silt suspended in the water. The silt tends to refract the blue-green spectra of the sun's white light.

Australian folk law (according to hamish and andy) allows you 1 free pass to swim in your jocks... I cashed mine in to swim in this bloody freezing lake above the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Alberta Canada.

Life in BANFF - Exploring Peyto and Moraine Lake
To cap off our days off from work we made a day trip to Peyto Lake and Moraine Lake. The most incredibly blue waters we have ever seen. We also witnessed a rockslide, saw @fernthebus, and caught a moose on camera!

Peyto Lake Viewpoint, Banff National Park
Beautiful viewpoint to visit in Banff National Park. Easy walk to the viewing area. I bring you along with me to check out this iconic blue/turquoise coloured lake. If you're looking for a quick viewpoint for amazing pictures, this is a great option when visiting Banff and lake louise area in Alberta. I would recommend walking farther than the platform, chances are there will be a lot less people and the scenery is very rewarding as you can see in my quick video. Hope you enjoy!

We love the walk to the Peyto Lake Viewpoint. For many visitors, this is one of the iconic views of the Canadian Rockies. That means it’s busy, so get here early or late during the peak summer season.

Stunning Peyto lake Swimming Across (Jun 15, 2019) Banff National Park
Third time swimming in Peyto Lake, the water temperature is always challenging but I 'm getting used to it. I love swimming in this beautiful glittering water.
Skating with the Stars, Lake Louise, Banff National Park.
We had a flash freeze and for two days the skating at Lake Louise in Banff National Park was the best I had ever experienced. So I was messing around with my new iPhone 11 Max and had a DJI OSMO 2 steady cam/gimbal. Rather than sit on this and do nothing I thought I would lay a track down and add some clips. It is not well done because I am short on time. So without further ado, here is 20 minutes of editing.

A day of lakes today, we visit Bow lake and Peyto lake before driving to Jasper where we stay at the Chateau Jasper hotel.
