The Brew Bro's Beer Review's Sean and Richard with special guests PaPa Bob from Colorado, Trader D and QC Rob look, smell, taste and rate the RedHead Red Ale from Rocky Mountain Brewery from Colorado Springs Colorado. This Awesome Ale was a pleasure to look at and taste. A Great Beer but be careful, at a 7.25 ABV it could really sneak up on you.
Redhead
Watch out for our Redhead. This tempestuous lady has a sassy attitude with up-front bitterness and a delicious citrus and herbal hop flavor. With a smooth malty finish and a hint of spice, she will leave you begging for more. Mountain IPA Hops, hops and more hops! This lady has a BIG up-front bitterness, lots of citrusy grapefruit flavors, and a complex citrus and spicy aroma. Hopped with Challenger, flavored with Columbus and Simcoe, then finished with Columbus, Simcoe, Willamette and Crystal. At 7.25%abv, this sassy lady brings lots of flavor and lots of attitude.

Takeoff - Colorado Springs Airport - Pikes Peak and Southern Rocky Mountains!
Colorado Springs is a place of immense natural beauty. We started our journey with a tour of the historic downtown and dinner at the Phantom Canyon Brewing Company. My meal at Phantom Canyon was absolutely delicious! I had never tried wild mushroom enchiladas before, but I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Colorado Springs just to have them again. The beer at Phantom Canyon was really good as well, I had the Blonde Ale and it didn't disappoint.
I stayed downtown, so the ride to and from the Colorado Springs Airport was the only tour I got of the rest of the city. It's obvious by all the new construction that the city is growing at breakneck speed. When looking out the window during takeoff, I was marveling at all of the subdivisions that had been built rather recently. Looking at the new developments from the air provided a unique perspective. The streets and lots with houses appeared to make an Aztec type of pattern from high up in the air.
Since Colorado Springs is surrounded by mountains, many places throughout the city have a great view of the natural landscape. It must be amazing to wake up each morning and look out the window at those tranquil mountains!
The Colorado Springs Airport (Airport Code COS) was a beautiful facility to fly out of. The lines weren't too bad, even though we were flying out at prime time, early in the morning. I still remember the cup of coffee I got at Pikes Perk. I nearly bought another cup to take on the plane with me because the brew was so good.
Overall, I would say that the best thing about Colorado Springs is the people. They're very accommodating, welcoming, and take great pride in their city. I can't wait to spend more time there!

Moab, Utah is the hub for travelers looking to adventure into Arches or Canyonlands National Parks. Nestled at the southern border of Arches National Park, this tiny tourist town is surrounded by gorgeous sandstone formations that act as an introduction to the grandeur to come from forays into the national parks. Today just so happens to be Jenni and my third year wedding anniversary - and my wife wants to spend it exploring the cute local shops of Moab.

Black Rock Mountain SP Drive Up and Campground-May 2017
I tried to video the drive up to Black Rock Mountain State Park GA for those that may be curious about how steep and tight it is. The roads are indeed narrow, as you will see, and I'd suggest that you contact the park about the length of your RV/trailer before deciding to camp here. I have also included a drive through the campground, which is also tight.
