Foggy..... Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park - Phitsanulok - Thailand (Rainy Season)
On the spectacular ride up Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park the vision became near impossible. It actually became much worse than this video shows (which I have on gopro footage and is on my full video of the amazing 5 day/7 provinces trip write up:
The road to this area was truly amazing and scenic, despite the wet weather.
Lots of strong wind current though, and at one point i was so chilly I had to get off my bike to put on my windproof jacket, only to nearly lose my bike over the edge from a massive gust of wind.
The bike tilted but thankfully I saw it happen and caught it. Then had to keep hold of it for some time until the wind died down and i could get back on it again.
Lots of dogs appearing out of the mist in the middle of the road (as dogs tend to do here!) and a few vehicles without any headlights....
lol...
Riveting stuff!
Will need to return again in the cool season to actually SEE the sanctuary as the fog covered the entire mountain for the entire duration.
