Phuket Town Day Tour With Scooter | Phuket Thailand Tour vlog
Phuket is one of the biggest islands in Thailand. Phuket old town is the hearth of this island. Being based in Phuket it is very easy to explore the surroundings of the Phuket island on the Andaman Sea. It is very easy to rent a boat or go on organised tours in to Phi Phi Islands, James Bond Island or any other island from in the Phang Nga Bay Thailand. Phuket is very popular tourist destination, being easily connected to the rest of the world via its international airport.
Renting a scooter in Phuket is one if the best things to do as you have the freedom and time to explore more. Driving a scooter in Thailand is very cheap and is one of the best options to move around once you settled in a place.
This video vlogs one day tour around Phuket Old Town area. You can get a good idea on what you can see and do in a day in Phuket, Thailand. The main attraction points highlighted here are:
1. The Monkey Hill Phuket - very close to Phuket Town, this attraction provides splendid views over one side of the Phuket Town, and gives you the chance to see the monkeys; there are plenty of monkeys here and some local fruit juices and drunks that you can have on the way.
2. Khao Rang View Point is a very quiet and peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the splendid views over the Phuket Town.
3. Karon View Point is one of the busiest view points in Phuket Island just because it offers views over the three most famous beaches in Phuket and the Andaman Sea. Here you can see a beautiful sunset over the Phuket island.
4. Big Buddha is highlight of the Phuket island. The journey to Big Buddha can be very pleasant as you can stop to feed the elephants or enjoy some green fresh coconuts. Big Buddha offers amazing views over Phuket Town and inspires you with the grand marble statue of Buddha.
Riding a scooter will allow you to easily see all these attractions and in the same time you could squeeze in an hour or two of beach time on the west coast of Phuket Island.

Top 10 Tours in Phuket Thailand
Top 10 Tours in Phuket Thailand
1 Phi Phi Islands Tour by Speedboat
The Phi Phi Islands tour by speedboat is a favourite day trip from Phuket. The Phi Phi archipelago comprises six islands – Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Leh, Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai, Mosquito Island, and Bamboo Island, and is located only 45 minutes away by twin-engine speedboat from Phuket.
2 Sea Kayaking - Phang Nga Hong by Starlight
When other sea cave-kayak tour operators are winding down for the day, the John Gray Sea Canoe crew is just getting started. John Gray is the godfather of sea kayaking in Thailand. He developed the ‘Hong by Starlight’ tour as a way to avoid crowds. A hong, in case you were wondering, is a sea cave.
3 Phuket FantaSea Show
Phuket FantaSea is the island's biggest show. With trapeze artists, a cast of hundreds, performing elephants and other animals and an exotic storyline that blends tradition with fantasy you'll have a wonderful evening out here.
4 Bamboo Rafting Nature Tour
Get close to the wild side of Phang Nga, seeing elephants, turtles, crocodiles and truly stunning natural landscapes. This tour visits a government-run fishery centre which breeds and releases sea turtles, a safari camp with a mini zoo and elephant trekking, the Ton Pling Waterfall and finishes with a journey down the Wang Khiang Koo River on a bamboo raft. It’s a relaxed, easy-going trip and gives you a very personal experience of Thailand’s untamed natural side.
5 Phang Nga Bay Cruise on June Bahtra Junk
See some the most famous of Phuket’s sights from the deck of the most exotic mode of transport available – a traditional Chinese Junk. The June Bahtra provides a safe, stable and exceptionally charming platform from which to explore the beautiful Phang Nga Bay, the famous James Bond Island and the remarkable Koh Pan Yee floating village. Propelled both by its striking red sails and a sturdy engine, the journey is as pleasant as the destinations on this cruise.
6 Phuket Island & City Tour
Phuket Island and City Tour is the perfect introduction to Phuket. This half-day tour by air-conditioned minivan takes you to the most famous cultural and scenic places of Phuket, giving you a glimpse of the island’s beauty at a bargain price. The tour includes a drive along the scenic coastal road from Patong to Karon to Kata and Rawai Beaches. On the way you stop by the famous ‘three-beaches-viewpoint’ above Kata Noi, Phuket’s southern tip at Promthep Cape, a sea gypsy village at Rawai Beach, and the biggest temple in Phuket, Wat Chalong.
7 ATV & White Water Rafting in Phang Nga
Phang Nga Province – right next door to Phuket – is a veritable cornucopia of wildlife, stunning scenery and adventure opportunities. Visitors to Phuket are lucky in that they can have the luxury of a beachside hotel along with easy and swift access to Phang Nga.
8 Phuket Eco Extreme by ATV
Explore 350 acres of wild, rugged terrain with an equally wild and rugged vehicle at Phuket’s most well-established ATV camp. Ride through dense jungle, mangroves and beaches, taking in wonderful sights in an exciting rush through the countryside.
9 Flying Hanuman
Zip through the jungle canopy 40 metres above the ground at this eco-friendly adventure park in Phuket. Fly between the trees along perfectly safe industrial-strength cables to sturdy wooden platforms where you can learn more about the island’s wild side, including the unique creatures which make the treetops you are exploring their home. It is a very different kind of nature tour, combining high-speed excitement with a fascinating view of a rarely-seen part of the landscape.
10 Coral Island Tour by Speedboat
It’s amazing how hot it can get at 09:00 in the morning. Thankfully, at Chalong Pier there’s plenty of shade and benches on which to sit with a cool drink. There are a lot of people here and their faces – in spite of their wildly differing nationalities – show just three basic emotions. There’s anticipation on foreigner’s faces, determination on the tour guides’ faces and pure bewilderment on children’s faces.
At 09:30 a guide wearing a Coral Island Resort T-shirt leads us down the steps at the beginning of the pier and helps us into a single engine speedboat. Soon, we’re roaring along and leaving a gorgeous wake behind us as we head south, past the headland at Rawai. The view of southern Phuket from the sea is decidedly verdant. You’d never guess what a busy place it can be at times, it looks so peaceful from a distance.

Bus from Patong to Phuket Town
How to get from Patong to Phuket Town? Take the bus from Patong to Phuket Town. It is easy and cheap. Takes about an hour, but only cost about 50 baht per person. The bus starts from Patong bus station but stops along Patong beach road to pick up passengers. If you want to go to Central Festival shopping center at Phuket you can take this bus also. Just let the conductor know that you want to get off at a specific place.

THAILAND VLOG 1: PHUKET 1ST DAY, PA TONG BEACH, BANGLA ROAD, SURF HOUSE & LOT OF STREET FOOD
PATONG is a beach resort town on the west coast of Phuket Island, facing the Andaman Sea in the southwest of Thailand. Its sandy, crescent beach is lined with cafes, restaurants and bars. The famously raucous nightlife scene features beer bars, go-go bars, nightclubs, massage parlors and cabarets that overflow into the street along neon-lit Bangla Road and in the Patong OTOP
THANON BANGLA
Bangla Road, Patong, in Phuket is notoriously named for its very energetic and lively nightlife. Bangla Road is a must visit if you head to Phuket. The nightlife is at the top of its game. It is literally packed with a ridiculous amount of bars, go-go bars, girly bars, ex-pat bars.
As soon as the sun starts to set, Bangla Road closes off the traffic. The neon lights and bars start to become lively. The music from all the bars starts to intertwine with each other. It becomes noisy, fun and energetic.

Telugu Travel Vlog 1 : Phuket, Thailand (Temple, Phuket City Viewpoint, Phuket Weekend Night Market)
Telugu Travel Vlog 1 : Phuket, Thailand (Temple, Phuket City Viewpoint, Phuket Weekend Night Market)
Phuket is an island province of Thailand. Its situated in the south part of Thailand. Phuket has few of the most popular beaches of Thailand situated along the clear waters of the western shore.
The Island has a lot of high-end seaside resorts, spas and restaurants.
The best way to get around and explore this town is to hire a motorcycle or scooter and cruise around. And that's what I did. I hired a scooter and decided to cruise around the town, taking whichever road I feel like. I had no agenda. I just went on roaming around.
First I stumbled upon a Temple which looked really beautiful from distance. Decided to take my first stop here. I checked out the temple and its architecture and saw how people paid their homage to the God. It wasn't different from how Hindus pray at the temple back in India.
The differences I saw were that, 1) People enter into the temple with their shoes on. 2) People offer soft drinks like Coco Cola and Fanta to the God (Bet even the God gets thirsty in this heat)
Next I went onto to cruise around the main Phuket Town. I saw some narrow road heading to something. The road was really nice and cool with lots of trees on both sides. It was an amazing ride with cool air hitting my face. At the end of the road I reached my 2nd destination - Phuket City Viewpoint.
The Phuket City Viewpoint has an awesome view of the whole town(or city - how they like to call it). I could also see the waterfront from the viewpoint. I realized that Phuket is such a flat town with hardly any high rise buildings.
Also I got to sit on a bench with a view of the whole town and to think about life and contemplate (I do that too much).
Next I got to hear about the weekend night market from a local and I decided to head there as my last stop for the day.
The Phuket Weekend Night Market is a busy busy place where you would definitely, definitely be lost. Its huge with a range of items on sale and that too at affordable rates(IF and only IF you are good at bargaining). The food section isn't the biggest, but it definitely is the busiest at all times. The range of food items is just crazy. But its useless for the vegetarians. If you are lucky and determined then you may stumble upon a few stalls selling 1 or 2 vegetarians items. Else fruit is always an option.
So after visiting the Night Market, I was totally drenched in sweat and decided to end my exploration of the city for the day.
All in all it was a fun filled day of exploration of Phuket, Thailand.

Hi Everyone. Sawadee ka. :D
This is the first video of our channel. Here we are sharing amazing Phuket through our eyes. Please excuse us if the video is not up to the mark and support us by sharing this video. Also, subscribe to our channel as we will be uploading some exciting videos of many more Cities.
So… the best time to visit Phuket is between November and March when the fruits are sweeter, the sky is blue & clearer. Also, the weather conditions are ideal for beach activities like swimming and boat activities. Although between April & October the accommodation prices are much cheaper. Take some time off from all sorts of pressures in life and go for a relaxing holiday to Phuket. I would say 3-4 days in Phuket would be enough.
Phuket, a rain forested, mountainous island in the Andaman Sea, has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, mainly situated along the clear waters of the western shore. Patong is the main beach resort town situated along the west coast of Phuket Island. On the east coast is the commercial hub of Phuket town where you will find lots of street shopping and really good food at cheaper price. This is where most of the locals live and so you can get an authentic Thai experience.
Below are the Top Destinations to visit when you are in Phuket:
1. Patong Beach (3:00, 3:27, 3:46)
2. Nai Harn Beach (3:08)
3. Karon Beach (3:34)
4. Phi Phi Island (9:57): Best to spend a night there for Fire show, open bars and super delicious street food.
5. Island Hopping (4:01): Take a day tour from one of the tour companies. Usually around 1500 baht per person. We took a day tour to Maya Bay at Phi Phi (4:16), Viking Cave (5:03), Monkey Beach (5:32) & Khai Island (5:47).
6. James Bond Island (9:15)
7. Big Buddha Temple (6:18)
8. Elephant Jungle Sanctuary (6:38): It’s a must for all ages. You get to feed the elephants and also have shower with them. Make sure you go to sanctuary three (3) as it’s the best among all others.
9. Wat Chalong Temple (7:13): You should cover your shoulders. Skimpy shorts and shirts would not be permitted. Although many temples happily provide with sarongs & scarves to help in these situations.
10. Jungceylon Shopping Center (8:00)
11. Bangla Road (10:25): To check the nightlife of Phuket, you must take a walk along this road. You can fancy a drink or two as there are many pubs and also night clubs open till late.
**You will be approached by many people who will try to scam you for island hopping, jet ski special deals or some sort of tourist deals. Just politely say “NO”. Also, put your bargain mode on while purchasing anything other than food. Food anyway is super cheap and unbelievably delicious.

Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand, located in the Andaman Sea of southern Thailand. The island is mostly mountainous with a mountain range in the west of the island from the north to the south. The mountains of Phuket form the southern end of the Phuket mountain range, which ranges for 440 kilometres (270 mi) from the Kra Isthmus. Although some recent geographical works refer to the sections of the Tenasserim Hills in the isthmus as the Phuket Range, these names are not found, however, in classical geographic sources. In addition, the name Phuket is relatively recent having previously been named Jung Ceylon and Thalang. The highest elevation of the island is usually regarded as Khao Mai Thao Sip Song (Twelve Canes), at 529 metres (1,736 ft) above sea level. However it has been reported by barometric pressure readings that there is an even higher elevation (with no apparent name), of 542 meters above sea level, in the Kamala hills behind Kathu waterfall. Its population was 249,446 in 2000, rising to 525,018 in the 2010 decennial census, the highest growth rate of all provinces nationwide at 7.4% annual, some 600,000 people reside in Phuket currently,[12] among them migrants, international expats, Thais registered in other provinces and locals. The registered population, however, includes only Thais, and the end of 2012 was 360,905 people.[13]
It is estimated that Phuket has a total area of approximately 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi) (including the province's other islands). Phuket is approximately 536 miles (863 km) south of Bangkok, and covers an area of 543 square kilometres (210 sq mi) excluding small islets. Other Islands are : Ko Lone 4.77 square kilometres (1.84 sq mi), Ko Maprao 3.7 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi), Ko Naka Yai 2.08 square kilometres (0.80 sq mi), Ko Racha Noi3.06 square kilometres (1.18 sq mi), Ko Racha Yai 4.5 square kilometres (1.7 sq mi), and the second biggest, Ko Sire 8.8 square kilometres (3.4 sq mi) (It is also the 2nd most popolated in Mu Ko Phuket.
It is estimated that if all its 39 other small islands are included, Phuket Province will cover an area of 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi). The island total length, from north to south, is estimated at 30 miles (48 km) and 13 miles (21 km) wide.[14]
Phuket's topography is exceptional with 70 percent of its area covered with mountains which stretch from north to south and the remaining 30 percent being plains located in the central and eastern parts of the island. It has a total of 9 brooks and creeks but does not have any major rivers.
Forest, rubber and palm oil plantations cover 60% of the island.[citation needed] The western coast has several sandy beaches, while on the east coast beaches are more often muddy. Near the southernmost point is Laem Promthep (Brahma's Cape), which is a popular sunset viewing point. In the mountainous north of the island is the Khao Phra Thaeo Non-hunting Area, protecting more than 20 km² of rainforest. The three highest peaks of this reserve are the Khao Prathiu (384 metres (1,260 ft)), Khao Bang Pae 388 metres (1,273 ft) and Khao Phara 422 metres (1,385 ft). The Sirinat National Park on the northwestern coast was established in 1981 and protects an area of 90 square kilometres (35 sq mi) (68 kilometres (42 mi) marine area), including the Nai Yang beach where sea turtles lay their eggs.
One of the most popular (and overcrowded) tourist areas on Phuket is Patong Beach on the central western coast, perhaps owing to the easy access to its wide and long beach. Most of Phuket's nightlife and its cheap shopping is located in Patong, and the area has become increasingly developed. Patong means the forest filled with banana leaves in Thai. Other popular beaches are located south of Patong. In a counterclockwise direction these include Karon Beach, Kata Beach, Kata Noi Beach, and around the southern tip of the island, Nai Harn Beach and Rawai. To the north of Patong are Kamala Beach, Surin Beach and Bang Tao Beach. These areas are generally much less developed than Patong, and sought out by individuals, families and other groups with a preference for more relaxed and less crowded environs than Patong. There are many islands to the southeast, including Bon Island, just a short boat trip away. There are several coral islands to the south of Phuket, the Similan Islands lie to the north west, and Phi Phi Islands to the south east. Islanders engage in a lively tourist trade, catering to snorkellers and scuba divers.

PHUKET, THAILAND | Travel Vlog 2018
Watch as we explore Phuket, Thailand and Phi Phi Island!
We stay in Patong Beach and experience the nightlife of Bangla Road and the night street foods of Banzaan Market. We also go island hopping around Monkey Beach, Phi Phi Island, and Coral Island, and snorkel in the middle of the Andaman Sea! We finish off the trip with lots of coconuts, some much needed Thai massages, and a visit to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary where we help feed, bathe, and wash the elephants.
