A tour around the Phuket Bird Park
Isaac Stone Simonelli takes a tour around one of the island's top attractions, the Phuket Bird Park, and makes a few feathered friends while he's there.
Phuket Bird Park - Phuket
Phuket Bird Park contains more than 100 bird species - macaws, hornbills, eagles and owls - from Asia, Africa and South America on 22 acres of land. There's a garden with a natural waterfall, thus keeping them close to their natural habitats.
The park is ideal for the whole family and visitors can enjoy bird shows three times a day - 10:30, 1:30 and 3:30pm. And you can feed the birds.

One of those days with unstable weather and we did not feel for going to the beach or the pool all day – we took a short ride to Phuket Bird Park which is great for families with kids and grownups – bear in mind that is quite a lot of up and downhill. There is not only Birds as the video will show you – a lot of birds very little talk.

Price: entry fee is 500 baht for adults and 300 for kids (foreigners) it´s not supercheap for the size of the park but it was great fun for ankanwildandcrazy.com grandchild.

Birds of a feather at Phuket Bird Park
iTravel Channel got to visit Phuket Bird Park, the island’s exclusive privately owned bird park.
It’s the most cuckoo place in all of Phuket. Phuket Bird Park is the only privately owned bird park on the entire island. It’s home to a beautiful garden, a natural waterfall, but most importantly more than 1,000 different kinds of birds.
The birds come from exotic species originating in Asia, Africa and South America. And these guys certainly don’t get their feathers ruffled up by visitors – they are really friendly, especially when they know they’re about to get a little nibble.
Some of the birds perform daily in bird shows, specifically the most intelligent species such as macaws, hornbills, eagles and owls. They can do tricks like drawing, catching and carrying and it’s always a treat for the eager audience!
