Tesla is an American heavy metal band formed in Sacramento, California in late 1981 by bassist Brian Wheat and guitarist Frank Hannon as City Kidd. Lead vocalist Jeff Keith, drummer Troy Luccketta and guitarist Tommy Skeoch joined them by 1984. By 1986, the band had changed from its glam-derived sound to a 'rootsier' direction under a new name: Tesla. By 1990, the band started showing signs of wear, with the introduction of drummer, Stefano Pasta taking the throne for Luccketta for a brief period until his own departure for personal reasons. In 1996, the band disbanded, with members devoting themselves to solo projects. In 2000, they reformed, but Tommy Skeoch departed the band in 2006 due to substance abuse, and was replaced by Dave Rude. They have sold 14 million albums in the United States.

Lincoln's New Arena is Named Pinnacle Bank Arena
Lincoln's new arena in the West Haymarket area will be named Pinnacle Bank Arena. Mayor Chris Beutler, Pinnacle Bancorp Chairman Sid Dinsdale and Pinnacle Bank President Mark Hesser announced the naming rights agreement at a news conference at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. A scale model of the arena with the new name also was unveiled, and it will be on display at the Chamber office, 1135 M Street, through December.
With approval of the agreement by the West Haymarket Joint Public Agency (JPA), Pinnacle Bank will pay a base fee of $11.25 million to be the exclusive title sponsor of the arena for a term of 25 years. In addition to the base fee, Pinnacle Bank will pay $20,000 for each year the arena serves as a site for one or more state high school tournaments in volleyball, basketball or wrestling.

The Huskers unveiled the design for their new court at the Pinnacle Bank Arena next year. The new design is a throwback a look that adorned the Bob Devaney Sports Center from 1986 until 1996 with an outline of the state of Nebraska at center court.

Nebraska State Fair Unveils Pinnacle Bank Expo Center Partnership
The Nebraska State Fair Board and Pinnacle Bank have announed a partnership between the two companies and the naming of the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center. Also this year, there will be a one millionth visitor to the Nebraska State Fair since it's move to Grand Island in 2010.
