High Def (Vimeo):
High Quality (YouTube):
Just as light is transformational, so is Pittsburgh. In tribute, Pittsburgh 250 Festival of Lights the largest lighting event of its kind in the United States asks you to explore many of our cultural and community assets at new times and in new ways to celebrate our regions past, present and future.
Under the direction of Lucette de Rugy of Artlumiere, international designers transform building facades into stunning works of art. French artist Corentine Buron will showcase her work at Agnes R. Katz Plaza and the Omni William Penn Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh. Friedrich Forster and Sabine Weissinger (aka CASA MAGICA) will light the Cathedral of Learning, the second tallest educational building in the world.
In addition, numerous Houses of Worship will be lighted in subtle ways, under the direction of Adam Koe Leong, to showcase architectural detail and stained glass best seen at night. And the artwork of children and their mentors will transform the David L. Lawrence Convention Center into a virtual gallery under the direction of Clear Story Creative.

Schindler 3300 Elevators at Open Hearth Garage, Southside Works - Pittsburgh, PA
Recorded: 8/10/2018
I rode these for the first time back in my earlier days of riding 3300s. The right car was broken then, and this time the left was broken. I also think one of them was broken when Elevating Western PA filmed them. These have clearly seen better days. They have taking the beating most parking garage elevators endure. They still run quietly and smoothly like most 3300s. This garage is currently the newest garage in Southside Works. It is attached to (Southside Works) City Club Apartments, which has Schindler 5500s, filmed in the next 2 videos.

1870s HLBI Urinal & 2000s Lecico Delta Black Country Museum
Been wanting to come back and film this beauty for years. Its located in the Bottle & Glass courtyard & when they demolished it brick by brick in the 1970s they went 1 step further and brought most of the original cisterns and urinal with it ????. It seems the toilet and the urinal share the cistern as theyre both connected plus i got splashed on when i pulled the chain ????????????, shame the flush wasnt great but 10 out of 10 for setting. as far as im aware the ladies also have HLBI cisterns with side chains & the same wooden panneling surrounding it . The Gents also features a genuine Crapper sink ????
The Garden as a Picture: Agnes Northrop’s Stained-Glass Designs for Louis C.Tiffany
Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen, the Anthony W. and Lulu C. Wang Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will build on her extensive study of the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany. This lecture will bring to light new research on Agnes Northrop, the only truly independent woman designer Louis Comfort Tiffany employed. In spite of her prominent role at the time, few windows, until recently, have been attributed to her, and her significance has been long overshadowed by Tiffany himself and by other women in his employ. The lecture will explore Northrop's pioneering work as a designer of windows in a male-dominated field.

Schindler 3300 Elevators at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Cranberry Township, PA
Recorded: 2/17/2018
These are probably the nicest 3300s I've been on so far. They have a bright orange color to them. This hotel opened in March 2017 and is located adjacent to the Lemieux Sports Complex in Seven Fields. These were the first Schindler 3300s to open in Cranberry. They are (and will be) the only 3300s in Cranberry with FI GL 100 fixtures, as the Staybridge Suites and future Best Western Plus have FI GS fixtures.

NEW Schindler 3300 elevators - Homewood Suites | Hilton - Strip District, Pittsburgh, PA
UPDATE – 02/18/19: Sadly, I no longer hold the record for finding the tallest 3300 on YT, as Schindler was stupid and changed it from 8 to 12 landings, and someone already found some with 9 landings. However those have the newer fixtures. Here’s the link to those:
I can’t believe I hold the record for being the 1st to film 8 story 3300s, the tallest 3300 can go in America!
These beauties were just installed in 2015! I believe I have the 3300 record because I don’t remember seeing an 8 floor 3300 on YouTube. These have a pinball sounding floor passing chime (I made that up). “P” is locked as it goes to a housekeeping area.
