Allegheny County Community and Real Estate
Located in southwestern Pennsylvania, Allegheny County is the second largest county in PA by population.

Organist Katelyn Emerson, praised for her great sensitivity and exciting artistry (The American Organist), showcases repertoire from the 14th-21st centuries in performances throughout the United States and Europe. She has performed in numerous esteemed venues, notably including the Hallgrímskirkja (Iceland), Cathédrale Saint-Omer (France), Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Hall (Russia), Cathédrale St-Quentin (Hasselt, Belgium), the Hauptkirche St. Petri (Hamburg, Germany), on the Kotzschmar Memorial Organ of Merrill Auditorium (Portland, ME, U.S.A.), Severance Hall (Cleveland, OH, U.S.A.), Reith Recital Hall at Goshen College (IN, U.S.A.), and others.
As first prizewinner of the AGO's 2016 National Young Artists' Competition in Organ Performance, the Guild's premier performance competition, Katelyn will be honored with a recital at the 2018 National Convention of the AGO in Kansas City (MO, U.S.A.) and will release her first recording, under the Pro Organo label, in spring 2017.
Ms. Emerson will display her artistry on the four-manual 106-rank Reuter organ at Shadyside Presbyterian Church.
The concert will run approximately ninety minutes.
Presented in cooperation with Shadyside Presbyterian Church Music in a Great Space.

The University of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra celebrated the start of it's 40th year on October 5, 2016 with a concert including the Jupiter symphony. The members of the orchestra include undergraduate students whose majors are typically in the sciences (neuroscience, biological sciences, chemistry, engineering, computer science, etc) and some faculty and staff also from these areas.
