Piz Nair is located above St. Moritz in the Albula Range, accessible by aerial cable car from Corviglia.
The Piz Nair Wall was the start of the men's downhill in the 2003 World Championship with a 100% drop results in an acceleration from 0 to 130 km/h in 7 seconds.

Corviglia is something of an insider’s tip among mountain bikers, given that it boasts unique flow trails that range from single trails to the Foppettas Flow Trail with integrated timber elements, offering everything the biker’s heart desires. SWITZERLAND: Corviglia - summit above St. Moritz (2,486 m) [HD]
From St. Moritz to Signal (2,130 m) by cable car, and then by foot to Corviglia (2,486 m).
Corviglia is a minor summit situated above St. Moritz.
Corviglia is also the name of the ski area directly above the town of St. Moritz.
This area, together with the fully integrated Marguns area which is centered above the neighboring town of Celerina, is the largest skiing area in the Engadine.
It has been the scene of several large tournaments, including the Olympic games twice, and the FIS alpine ski world championships several times.
From here you can go by aerial cable car to the Piz Nair (3,057 m), the highest skiable mountain in the region -see my next video.

Piz Nair Sunrise Winter - the Early Morning Mountain Spectacle in St. Moritz
The sunrise in the Engadin is exceptionally beautiful. Three times per Winter, the special offer Piz Nair Sunrise provides an opportunity to witness this amazing spectacle at over 3,000 metres above sea level. The mountain railways transport participants to the top of the Piz Nair before dawn. There you can then experience the sun as it rises up above the horizon while tucking into a substential breakfast from the buffet in the summit restaurant. After that, it’s off to the perfectly fresh groomed ski slopes.
