Nepal - Himalaya - Kathmandu
See the best accommodations Nepal, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a landlocked sovereign state located in South Asia. It is located in the Himalayas and bordered to the north by the People's Republic of China, and to the south, east, and west by the Republic of India. With an area of 147,181 square kilometres (56,827 sq mi) and a population of approximately 30 million, Nepal is the world's 93rd largest country by land mass and the 41st most populous country. Kathmandu is the nation's capital and the country's largest metropolis.
Nepal has a rich geography. The mountainous north has eight of the world's ten tallest mountains, including the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest, called Sagarmatha in Nepali. It contains more than 240 peaks over 20,000 ft (6,096 m) above sea level. The fertile and humid south is heavily urbanized.
By some measures, Hinduism is practised by a larger majority of people in Nepal than in any other nation. Buddhism, though a minority faith in the country, is linked historically with Nepal. Many Nepali do not distinguish between Hinduism and Buddhism and follow both religious traditions. There are 3 different buddhist traditions: Himalayan Buddhism, Buddhism of Kathmandu Valley (mostly Mahayana and Vajrayana), and also the Theravada Buddhism.
A monarchy throughout most of its history, Nepal was ruled by the Shah dynasty of kings from 1768, when Prithvi Narayan Shah unified its many small kingdoms. However, a decade-long Civil War by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and several weeks of mass protests by all major political parties led to the 12 point agreement of November 22, 2005. The ensuing elections for the constituent assembly on May 28, 2008 overwhelmingly favored the abdication of the Nepali monarch Gyanendra Shah and the establishment of a federal multiparty representative democratic republic. The first President of Nepal, Ram Baran Yadav, was sworn in on July 23, 2008. ( source Wikipedia )

Finding peace in Kathmandu - Nepal Advanture Travel
This video present to entertain you about Nepal Advanture Travel especially about Finding peace in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu is an assault on the senses. It is a blend of fume-shrouded traffic chaos, clanging temple bells, cooing doves, the sticky scents of temple food offerings, wafts of incense and the sound of the ubiquitously piped Buddhist mantra om mani padme hum pouring from the shops in the tourist neighbourhood. The beckoning of persistent salesmen and the imploring of beggars adds to the mix. It is chaotic, mesmerising, fascinating and exhausting. After spending some time in Kathmandu, you will need to get out of the crazy city streets to find some peace.

Cockpit Flight Challenge - Paro to Kathmandu over Himalayas
Flying out of Paro, Bhutan on Bhutan Airlines A319 to Kathmandu, Nepal all the way in the cockpit. Watch the exciting departure out of Paro by climbing out of many mountain surroundings.
The flight is just 40 minutes across the Himalayas but it is one of the most challenging flight to operate with many restrictions and flow control.
Watch this video to see the challenge out of Bhutan and flying into Kathmandu. Enjoy the exciting cockpit footage on takeoff and landing.
---------
Join us for this special video, the third in a series highlighting the perils, delights and excellent views experienced flying between Nepal and Bhutan, making use of Kathmandu Airport and also the famous Paro airport, where only trained captains are permitted to take off and land due to the challenging geography of the airport, which sees Paro airport at the bottom of a deep valley surrounded by the tallest mountains in the world, the Himalayas.
See part one of the series, our amazing flight from Kathmandu airport to Paro airport here:
See part two of the series, consisting of an extended and highly enjoyable plane spotting session at Paro airport here:
In this video, we fly back to Kathmandu airport from Paro airport on Bhutan airlines. Before saying goodbye to Paro in Bhutan, we take a moment to admire the very beautiful and unique decoration of the passenger terminal of the remote Paro airport with its polished, wooden check in counters each with a different, intricately patterned artwork attached – the passenger terminal building was constructed back in 1999 and retains, to this day, a lot of unique and aged character which you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
We also take the opportunity to explore the business class lounge of Paro airport; despite the airport’s remote location, there is still a fantastic selection of food and drink available.
Up in the air, we are once again in the hands of an expertly trained captain, the highly competent Captain Senga, letting us relax and enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and clouds. We also have the opportunity to sample the onboard hospitality of Bhutan airlines, with a free hot towel and provided snack, some delicious hot sausage rolls, to keep us ticking over on our short flight.
Particular viewing highlights in the video include a breath-taking view of Mount Kangchenjunga, which stands at 8,586 metres tall, the third tallest mountain in the world, and a magnificent view of Paro airport shortly after departure, showing how it is deeply sunk in to its surrounding valley.
We have a little bit more time to admire the view as we are held circling in the air, 50 kilometres south of Kathmandu airport due to traffic congestion. Kathmandu airport only has nine parking stands for 42 international airlines and has only a single, bumpy, concrete runway meaning that traffic congestion at the airport is often a problem.
There is also no instrument landing system available at Kathmandu airport (also known as Tribhuvan International Airport) and we have an in-depth discussion and educational insight from the Captain surrounding the consequences of this - when flying in to Kathmandu airport, it is necessary to make use of the VOR or RNAV (RNP) approach system. The Kathmandu viewer has a non-precision approach, with the required visibility at the airport normally being a minimum of 3000 feet. Between December and February, visibility coming in to Kathmandu airport is often less than this, making things extra challenging for pilots trying to land there.
We hope you enjoyed the flight from Paro to Kathmandu – let us know what you thought of the whole exciting journey in the comments below and as always, thanks for watching!

Flying Over the Nepal Himalayas: A Once in a Lifetime Experience

Planning your dream Himalayan trip, When to go March, April, September, October - Nepal Advanture Travel
This video present to entertain you about Nepal Advanture Travel especially about Planning Himalayan trip.
For mountain lovers and the vertically inclined the Himalayas represent nothing less than the crowning apex of nature's grandeur. Here dramatic forested gorges rise to skylines of snow-capped glaciated peaks through a landscape that ranges from high-altitude desert to dripping rhododendron forest. Home to some 40 million people, this is no alpine wilderness, but rather a vibrant mosaic of peoples, cultures and communities, criss-crossed by ancient trading and pilgrimage routes that offer their own unique inspiration. Test your mettle against some of the world's most audacious and dangerous roads, or set a more measured pace on a trek through yak pastures to prayer flag-strewn passes haunted by snow leopards and red pandas. Stretching in a 2500km-long arc across Asia from Kashmir to Kathmandu, Lhasa to Ladakh, the Himalayan range is a big place. Focus your pilgrimage on one of the following dream trips.

The best tour in Nepal | Everest Helicopter Tour | A Complete Details
There are different Himalayan routes that you can take Helicopter tour like Everest Helicopter tour, Langtang Helicopter tour or Annapurna Helicopter tour to witness the vastness of the Himalayas of Nepal. Sights of the glistering snow peaks, beautiful green valleys, breathtaking view of barren land always stands out for the lifetime.
One of the best available options to get so close to the towering peaks of the Himalayas, almost to the touching distance, is definitely the Helicopter tour. This video is filmed over Everest Region and shows an up close look at Mount Everest.
To find out more about helicopter tours in Mt. Everest check out
Here’s the entire trip:
We took off from airport leaving Kathmandu behind the same route that Sir Edmond Hilary and Tenjin Norge took to summit Mount Everest for the first time. Passing many hills, seeing many other mountain vides, looking at Jiri (Swtizerland of Nepal). And soon we passed Lamjura (3500m) we were able to witness high Himalayas of Everest region.
Flying over the same valley of Lukla, we were (we were excited to see even bigger and higher mountains like Summit peak, Thamserkhu and more. ) making our eyes even bigger to stair high mountains like summit peak, thamserkhu and many more. And suddenly, we were looking at Namche with its beautiful surrounding. Mt. Kwange and many more were taking Namche in their lap.
We were landing at Syngbuche for fueling but the Mt. Everest was already gazing at us. After stopping few minutes, we flew over Khumde and Khumjung village towards Mt. Everest. Oh a minute later we were lucky to connect out eyesight with Mt. Choyu (8188m) with its gigantic face.
The geographical situatedness of Everest region is itself amazing. It is located in the region ranging from Kanchangungha to Langtang.
Cholaste 6440m. Look at that O MY GOODNESS ! Lobuche peak 6119m, now lobuche village 4900m along with lobuche glacier and the top.
Flying over Khumbu glacier, towards Everest Base Camp and looking at Pumori mountain range is of course unforgettable, nothing beats it.
After visiting almost to the camp two of Everest climb, we turned back towards Kalapather with the view of Khumbu Icefall. By the way, we had a choice either land at Everest Base Camp (5365m) or Kalapathar (5400m), we chose Kalapathar for better view.
Standing at Kalapathar with 51 % oxygen level was not easy so we landed at Lakapathar for only few minutes. Ok after having panoramic view of Everest and more, we turned back towards Syangbuche now.
One of the best available options to get so close to the towering peaks of the Himalayas, almost to the touching distance, is definitely the Helicopter tour. Its best for those who have limited time but its great for everyone else if you look for Luxurious and at the same time thrilling experience.
Most importantly, there are different Himalayan routes that you can take Helicopter tour like Everest Helicopter tour, Langtang Helicopter tour or Annapurna Helicopter tour to witness the vastness of the Himalayas of Nepal. Sights of the glistering snow peaks, beautiful green valleys, breathtaking view of barren land always stands out for the lifetime.
Anyways, our company Mountain Ram Adventures offers Helicopter tours to any of these areas as per the requirements of the clients. We offer individual tour, group tour, family tour etc.
Ok now we are landing at Syangbuche. We will be taking a bit of time here to enjoy our breakfast with the view of Mt. Everest along with surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Oh its time to go back, but we still have one more hour to enjoy helicopter ride. Look at the view of Dudhkoshi river and villages like Monju, Phakding and Lukla and beautiful farming tares. Green hills, villages still overwhelm you before arriving in Kathmandu.

Nepal Travel Vlog Day 7 - Kathmandu to Nagarkot (In search of Himalayan Views)
Day 7 of my Nepal Travel vlog sees us leave Kathmandu by Private car and head towards Nagarkot. We heard about a place called Peaceful Cottage where you can see amazing views of the Himalayan Mountain ranges while sitting on the terrace having a beer (or whatever takes your fancy).
We had to endure over 3 hours of travel on some of the worst, dusty and polluted roads I have ever experienced to get there.
Thank you for watching.

ABOUT ME
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
xHello there! If you make it this far, welcome!
I am Syifa, an Indonesian female solo traveler, who started solo traveling in 2013. I enjoy budget traveling by staying with locals, motorbike riding but also like to explore local food.
After working for the government till 2016, I left Indonesia to pursue long-term traveling. As naive as I was, it only lasted me for 5 months throughout Asia. In January 2017 I moved to China for an English teaching job, which was considered to be my first living abroad experience. Stayed until May 2018, living in China has changed me, in a good way.
I love traveling and creating travel videos on Youtube. It is such a rewarding work for me that I do wish this would last me for a while.
