Gokarna Beach Trek and Camping | Plan The Unplanned
When we hear about treks, we assume that there would be lofty mountains or lush green hills to welcome us. Well, if you want to try something different, then here’s a chance to join us for the Gokarna Beach Trek.
Gokarna, a temple town about 484 km’s from Bangalore, is on the Western coast of India. Located in the Kumta taluk of Uttara Karnataka, the main deity is Lord Shiva, also known as Mahabhaleshwara. This temple houses what is believed to be an original image of Lord Shiva’s lingam (Atmalinga).
Apart from being one among the seven most important Hindu pilgrimage centers, it is known for its scenic and rustic beaches. The drive up the winding path is serene and leads to rocky mountains, with the Western Ghats on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other.

Skandagiri Night Trek II Bangalore II Plan The Unplanned
Located at a distance of approximately 70 KM from Bangalore, Skandagiri is the perfect weekend getaway from Bangalore for several reasons- its close proximity to the city, the scenic views and the picture perfect sunrise from the peak and of course the exciting night trek opportunity it offers.
Historically known as Kalwarbetta or Kalavara Durga, the mountain fortress of Skandagiri holds immense importance – it is said that this fortress was built by Tipu Sultan which has been left deserted since 1791 after he lost the Anglo-Mysore War. Since then, the fortress has been weathered away and now, nothing but the ruins remain. However, the beauty of the ancient Skandagiri Hills has increased over time. And with more and more restrictions being placed on night treks across the State, the Skandagiri trek is one of the very few night treks remaining that one can do legally.

A weekend in Hampi || Travel Vlog || with Plan The Unplanned
Hello Guys!
I am glad you checked out this video, here is my review of plan the unplanned, the organisation i decided to travel with;
After much research of a host of different groups I settled on Plan The Unplanned's Hampi Heritage Trek. As this was my first trip with a bunch of strangers I dint expect much. But the itinerary looked promising.
I started the trip lazy, tired and alone but the trek leads and my travel companions quickly changed that narrative. I went a solo Traveller but I have never felt so much a part of a group. I can honestly say that it has been of my best trips in India.
You'd think hampi is just a heritage, dry town. But the entire trip was so exhilarating with things like bouldering, cliff jumping and camping. Even though we almost did 4 trekks and I was exhausted, I was ready for more.
I will definitely be going for another trip with PTU. And mostly with the friends I made on this one. I've made a bunch of memories and friends that I will always cherish.
Thanks to the trekks leads (Sushma, Nagashree and Abhilash) for being so normal, friendly and helpful and not acting like they they're above all others, which is the case in alot of trips planned by companies. Everyone was involved in decision making if and when we went off itinerary. Which was the best for me. Also thanks to the owner of the company Jatin for always being candid and so present in the moment with us.
I cannot fault my Hampi adventures. And so I give Plan the Unplanned 5 stars.
If you have travelled with them, comment you experience down below. and if you are going to, maybe i will see you there!
Plan The Unplanned :
They have many more trips to Hampi, Wayanad, Gokarna and even Bhutan, please do check them out.

Kudremukh Trek II In Monsoon II Plan The Unplanned
Video Courtesy - Sirisha Akshintala
Rolling green hills, clouds kissing the mountains, forest trails, bamboo shrubs and a dozen waterfalls, the Kudremukh Peak trek has it all; No wonder it is called the Himalayas of the south. The scenery keeps changing on the trek and will surely amaze anyone. Coming under the Chikmagalur District of Karnataka, Kudremukh trek is one of the most exciting treks in this region. It is the third highest peak after Mullayanagiri and Bababudangiri. Absorb the beauty of the Western Ghats as you walk up the trail. Very few people know the fact that the Western Ghats are considered as UNESCO World Heritage Site for the natural beauty and for being an icon of environmental balance. The lush greenery of the hills can never fail to mesmerize a soul.
You’ll cross several cascading waterfalls and narrow streams, thick forests with a variety of trees, and the whistling of birds will keep you entertained all throughout. And finally, when you’ll reach the peak, the picturesque view from the top and the chilled wind will absolutely blow you out of your mind and make you numb for a few minutes, before you regain your consciousness to feel the enchanting magic of the place. So if you are bored of the city lights in Bangalore, then forget everything and join us for this weekend trek to Kudremukh and find yourself amidst nature.

Kodachadri Traveller's Experience II Plan The Unplanned II Trek to Jasmine of the Hills
Nestled deep in the Western Ghats in the district of Shimoga and holding its place as the tenth highest peak in the State, Kodachadri is home to lush green jungle trails through dense tropical forests, picturesque waterfalls and mesmerizing landscapes. Located in the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary, it also forms the perfect backdrop to the Moola Mookambika Temple, believed to be the place of origin of Goddess Mookambika. Catching a glimpse of the evening sun set into the Arabian Sea from its peak offers an enchanting experience; a combination of mountain and ocean, that very few peaks in the Country can boast of.

Karwar travel vlog || Kashmir of Karnataka || w/ Plan The Unplanned
Hey guys,
This one is a short one because it's not punctuated by my incessant rambling.
Also I realize some funny/weird videos should be kept personal and also it's not necessary to record everything because you miss out just being in the moment.
This was a fairly quick edit and I am happy how it turned out. If you have any suggestions for music, editing, etc. let me know in the comments down below.
This trip was again taken with Plan The Unplanned. It was a small group this time but it was so much fun. Thanks to each person who was a character in their own right.
Karwar is a beautiful non commercial town. with pristine beaches and lush forests. I hope it stays that way. many locations are rarely visited, like the black sand beach and the seashell beach. They need quite a hike to get to. But clean water and sand is somewhat of a rare sight in India and it's so mesmerising, I'd walk through an entire forest to see it.
Kayaking is a sport that you hate until you love it. I hated how uncomfortable and useless it seemed. a short ride is tedious. but once you get a hang of it, it is one of the best things you'd ever do. I'm sorry for the fluff footage. but I'm glad I did not take my camera with me. This experience of kayaking is extremely personal to me. I haven't experience this sense of peace in a long time. It also helps that the lake we kayaked in is doughnut shaped surrounded by mountains and surrounding an island. sounds like a dream no? It took my breath away.
As for would I visit Karwar Again? Yes. it's beautiful. the bus ride is tedious. like really, really bad. but once you get there it's worth it. it's a small town so there isn't much to explore. but it's a good place to relax and get back your bearings.
Thanks for watching, and I'll see you next time!

Kudremukh Trek | September 2018 | GoPro Hero5 | Plan the unplanned
Kudremukh Trek is in the Kudremukh wildlife reserve it is a total no plastic zone which is what kept the trail so clean and pure, I would'nt say it is easy but everyone who has a will can complete and the view is simply amazing. You will see vast greenlands covering the western ghats. The trek start is an 8 hour drive away from Banglore, it is in the Chikmanglur district. I would surely say this is a must do trek in Karnataka.

The best of the trek was making new friends in such a short span of time. About Kudremukh trek i would recommend it 100% whether solo or with a group.
