Evo Swimming - Cyprus Training Camp 2018
For the first time ever, Evolution Swimmers were given the opportunity to travel to Cyprus for a 6 day training camp.
Located on the scenic Coral Bay, swimmers trained in the resorts outdoor 50m pool, set just away from the beach. Swimming both in the morning and evening, individually they swam over 23km! A huge step up in intensity from their usual sessions!
The coaching team were both impressed and proud of the effort and resolve that each swimmer displayed throughout the week.
Coach John said, 'each of the swimmers has had different issues to overcome this week and every single one of them has persisted to overcome the challenges such a step up in training presents. Myself and the rest of the coaching team are immensely proud of their achievements and can't wait to organise next years camp!'
Thanks must go to both Sports Abroad and the Cyprus Tourism Authority for their help in organising such a brilliant week!
