It is located about 6 km east of the inland town of Pollença and two kilometres southeast of Cala Sant Vicenç. The Cap de Formentor is connected to Port de Pollença via a 13.5 km road.

Öfffentlich Strand-Toilette und Abduschmöglichkeit/ Public restroom and shower: wenige Meter entfernt / available just a few meters away. Beach bar (La Roca) 50m south for low priced drinks/coffee pizza and snacks. Supermarket for snacks, fresh sandwiches and icecream: 100m North. Nahe gelegenes und empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit Strandblick / Nearest recommendable restaurant for sandwiches / lunch: Torre Playa, 10mins by foot north. Ausgezeichneter Service, gute Preise, WC sehr sauber / Fast and friendly service, lavatory exceptional clean.
Achtung: eine Baustelle direkt in der Nähe der Aufnahmestelle dieses Videos verursacht aktuell (Oct 2017) an Wochentagen eine nicht unerhebliche Lärmbelästigung. Gemessen an der Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit dürfte das noch einige Monate der Fall sein.
