[4K] PORTO, PORTUGAL TOUR - Street Tour in a tuk tuk
How do we afford to travel so often? We're lucky enough to stay for almost free in every city, using
Join us as we wind through the historic and quirky back streets and of Porto Portugal in a tuk tuk, in this 4k city tour.
We begin where the famous Ponte Dom Luís I bridge meets the waterfront area of Cais Da Ribiera. This iron bridge was built by a student of Gustave Eiffel (the very same man that designed the Eiffel Tower,) and it connects the Ribeira district with Vila Nova de Gaia across the Rio Douro.
The riverfront area of Ribeira has to be the most picturesque in Porto and is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's top of the list of visitor's things to do in Porto for very good reasons, with it's line of cafes, bars, live street music and brightly coloured houses.
As we speed around the City, keep an eye out for the São Bento train station, home to an amazing tiled booking hall, the 12th century Sé do Porto Cathedral and the towering Torre dos Clerigos) (church tower,) - the most visible feature on Porto’s stunning skyline.

Viaje/Viagem 11 - Porto
Rock climbing and Incredible Oceancoast Hike in Cantabria, Spain | Camino del Norte - Day 10
On the Day 10 of our Camino de Santiago del Norte we hiked from the coastal village Oriñon in Cantabria to the town Laredo.
We left Oriñon and started walking uphill to Sonabia. We were told by locals that there is an alternative way to the city of Laredo where we were heading to today taking the mountains path instead of going on the national highway. It seemed like a great idea to us so we planned to do that. Especially for us who always would take and alternative closer to the coast and escape the noisy car roads. It was a 13 km hike. Right away when we hiked a bit higher we started to see the splendid views of the ocean and rocky cliffs. And we must say the mountain that we were climbing was a very beautiful one itself. First we climbed in the sand then the ground was turning harder and rockier and the path was becoming steeper and steeper...

First meeting with the ocean and getting the pilgrim credentials in Irún | Day 3 of Camino del Norte
That day started on another beautiful sunny and warm morning on the coast. When we started walking the first thing we saw was the spectacular beach with the rocks in the water that in the morning light looked even greater. The waves were crushing into the shore creating lots of foam and it was truly mesmerising. We walked into the French border city of Hendaye and did a huge round because of the big bay of water that mostly is formed by the river and some port facilities. So we crossed the border and got into the city of Irun from the Spanish side and that's where we started seeing the indicators of the official Camino del Norte that we are taking. We were having a plan of getting into city and doing lots of things like going in the bank, buying groceries, printing some documents etc. But the most important thing that happened was receiving the pilgrim credentials. From now on we have the official proof of going through all the stages of the Way. When we were done in the city we finally started to get out of it and it wasn't very fast until the route started to go between the field lands. The weather was super hot and it was kind of annoying to walk uphill on the road with cars (even though it wasn't very busy). And we still had to walk 9 km as planned. Finally we got out of pavement and walked into the forest. Here we decided to get away from official Camino del Norte trail and hike along the oceanside...

Lisbon (Lisboa) - capital city of Portugal
An impression of Lisbon, Portugal. More videos of Lisbon:
Lisbon (Portuguese: Lisboa) is the capital and the largest city of Portugal. It is one of the oldest cities in the world, and the oldest in Western Europe, predating other modern European capitals such as London, Paris and Rome by centuries.
The city is rich in architecture; Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Baroque, Modern and Postmodern constructions can be found all over Lisbon.
Its urban area extends beyond the city's administrative limits. About approximately 27% of the country's population live in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. The municipality of Lisbon includes 24 civil parishes ('frequesias').
Lisbon has a Mediterranean climate with mild, rainy winters and warm to hot, dry summers. The typical summer season lasts about four months, from June to September.
It is continental Europe's westernmost capital city and the only one along the Atlantic coast. Lisbon lies in the western Iberian Peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean and the River Tagus.
DISTRICTS:
Alfama - the oldest district of Lisbon; it spreads down the southern slope from the Castle of São Jorge to the River Tagus.
Baixa Pombalina - downtown district; it is the heart of the city.
Chiado - a traditional shopping area that mixes old and modern commercial establishments, concentrated specially in the Rua do Carmo and the Rua Garrett.
Bairro Alto - upper district that functions as a residential, shopping, restaurant/bar/club area; it is the centre of a youth-oriented nightlife.
Belém - famous district from which many of the great Portuguese explorers set off on their voyages of discovery.
Parque das Nações - the newest district in Lisbon, having emerged from an urban renewal program leading to the World Exhibition of Lisbon 1998, also known as Expo'98.

Drug-Taking Child Prostitutes Work The Streets Of A World Cup City
Children as young as 12 are selling themselves for sex for as little as 80p in one of Brazil's World Cup cities, a Sky News investigation has found.
On the backstreets of Recife, in northeastern Brazil, we met a group of children aged between 12 and 17 who were sniffing glue. Some of the children were involved in prostitution.
Glue bottle in hand, 12-year-old Elaine said she did not always feel safe and bad things sometimes happened on the street.
We were told that for 10 to 20 Reais (£2.55 to £5.10) she would allow men to take her home, to motels, or even to the local swamp for sex.
