Quentin Tarantino - The Prince Charles is Kill Bill's UK home!
PCC Favourite QUENTIN TARANTINO declaring The Prince Charles Cinema as Kill Bill's rightful home, in England
The day that Kill Bill plays at the Prince Charles, alright, will be the day that Kill Bill truly comes home when it comes to England!
Paul Merton @ Prince Charles Cinema, London | The Rebel | newly restored | World Premiere
Comedian Paul Merton introduces the World Premiere of the newly restored, 1960s classic, The Rebel, starring comedy legend Tony Hancock.
The Rebel
Sitcom legend Tony Hancock makes his feature film-starring debut in this clever comedy from long-time collaborators Ray Galton and Alan Simpson. A witty satire that vigorously ridicules effete pseudo-intellectualism, middle-class pretensions and bohemian artiness, The Rebel is presented here as a brand-new High Definition restoration from the original camera negative in its original theatrical aspect ratio.
A self-taught artist with an enthusiasm that far exceeds any ability, Anthony Hancock throws in his monotonous office job to live the dream. His genius unappreciated by the local peasantry he decides there's only one place for his talents to flower – amongst the beatniks and bohemians of Paris!

Inside Prince Charles And Camilla's Gorgeous Home
If you're new, Subscribe! →
Clarence House, the primary home of Prince Charles and Camilla, is an architectural treasure within walking distance of Buckingham Palace in London. The impressive four-story building was designed between 1825 and 1827, and before Charles and Camilla came to live at the estate, it was home of the late Queen Mother for nearly 50 years. Although the royal family's official site says the building underwent extensive refurbishment and redecoration to become a home for Charles, much remained the same as it had in the early- to mid-1900s. Even the queen's furniture and art remain in the rooms they were originally placed. If you can't make it to London and experience an annual August tour, here's a quick look at some of the highlights of the gorgeous home of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall...

1. Wide, pan down, exterior of Odeon cinema
2. Medium shot director Peter Jackson
3. SOUNDBITE (English) Peter Jackson, director:
It's a terrific novel that Alice Sebold wrote and I read the novel as a reader. I was in the middle of doing the 'Two Towers' post production in 2002, so I was very busy, I wasn't looking for another movie to make but I was reading the book, just like anyone else does and I found it to be very affecting. I thought the themes were interesting because we all wonder what's going to happen to us after we die. That's one of those mysteries of humanity and the book addresses that in a really interesting way and I thought it would make a terrific movie.

STORYLINE
Director Peter Jackson was joined by the cast of his new film The Lovely Bones on the red carpet in London's Leicester Square on Tuesday night for the film's Royal Film Performance and world premiere.
The movie got the royal stamp of approval in October when it was announced that it had been selected for the UK's Royal Film Performance, which is the principal fundraising event of The Cinema & Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF).
All money raised from the event will go directly to the charity, which supports film and TV employees and their families in times of hardship.
The premiere was attended by Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
The film is an adaptation of Alice Sebold's best-selling novel of the same name about a murdered teenage girl, Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan) watching over her family and her murderer from heaven.
But Susie must decide what is more important to her, vengeance or her family's happiness.
Jackson said he first read the novel in 2002 and had no intension of making it into a movie.
I was in the middle of doing the 'Two Towers' post production in 2002, so I was very busy, I wasn't looking for another movie to make but I was reading the book, just like anyone else does and I found it to be very affecting, he said.
I thought the themes were interesting because we all wonder what's going to happen to us after we die. That's one of those mysteries of humanity and the book addresses that in a really interesting way and I thought it would make a terrific movie, Jackson added.
Susan Sarandon, who plays Susie's grandmother in the film, brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the premiere, but only briefly stopped to talk to press.
The film also stars Rachel Weisz, Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci.
The Lovely Bones will be released in the UK and Ireland on 29 January 2010 and will go on limited release in the US from 11 December 2009.
It will be released nationally in the US on 15 January 2010.
