What's this, Silv? You're gone for a while and the first thing you have to show us is a random vlog in about cycling in Brussels of all places?
Yes, that's exactly what's going on! I found that this phenomenon is relatively little documented, especially on YouTube, but it's a very special day in Brussels and anyone who wants to promote mobility solutions besides cars. It's also a good opportunity to explain my hiatus for a bit too, though. Starting from this week, I'll be making videos again, so stay tuned.
Excuse the shoddy mic and video quality - the A6000 alone wasn't really meant as an action camera, but I have nothing else on my hands unfortunately.

Brussels Critical Mass - Bicycle Tour - Netherlands and Belgium - Part 7
In the summer of 2017, our family returned to Europe to do another awesome bike tour. We started in Amsterdam and bicycled 800 km in a circle to Brussels and back to Amsterdam.
This part of the tour highlights the August Critical Mass bike ride in Brussels. Critical Mass is a bike ride that takes place on the last Friday of every month in more than 300 cities worldwide. Its purpose is to raise awareness about bicycle rights. They are a way for cyclists to spontaneously ride bikes together and celebrate cycling.

BICYCLE TOURING FRANCE - Part 1 Belgium and Northern France
In the Summer of 2018 I rode my bike from my hometown Goirle in the Netherlands to the South Western corner of France. It took me 9 days to cover a total distance of 1350 km.
For the bigger part I followed the French part of the route to Santiago de Compostella. Also known as the Camino. GPX can be found here (dutch):
This part 1 covers the first 3 days where I rode thru Belgium and Northern France, right up to the outskirts of Paris.
