Provincetown Town Hall Move
The entire municipal staff at Provincetown Town Hall packed up their offices this week in preparation for the move to rented modular trailers, which will be employees' home for at least one, if not two years, while the 122-year-old Town Hall is restored.

The National Monument to the Forefathers
Formerly known as the Pilgrim Monument, commemorates the Mayflower Pilgrims. Dedicated on August 1, 1889, it honors their ideals as later generally embraced by the United States. It is thought to be the world's largest solid granite monument, and is the third-tallest statue in the United States.-Wiki
Located on Allerton Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the 81-foot-tall (25 m) monument was commissioned by the Pilgrim Society. The original concept dates to around 1820, with actual planning beginning in 1850. The cornerstone was laid August 2, 1859.

P'TOWN CAPE COD 2012
A few highlights from my recent trip to P'Town Cape Cd, Ma. I went to meet up with some ladies whom I've been friends with since around 2006-2007 on YouTube. That's the thing I love about the internet and YouTube. We get to meet people from all over the world and interact with them--things we might not have been able to do, if it weren't for the WWW.
I remember when I first began interacting with people on the internet. My friends IRL said things like, Those people aren't real, you'd better watch out, you're gonna meet some nut cases. I LOL when I think back on all that stuff now. I have REAL friends I met on the internet and they are no more or less nuttier than my IRL friends. I love the freedom of the World Wide Web. I love the fact that I have friends from New Zealand, Australia, England. It's fantastic.
I had a wonderful time i P'Town, a place I'd never ever heard about, much less visited. It was wonderful, beautiful, a quaint little New England beach town. Just gorgeous.
I finally got to meet T and Mo in person. I'd met Mary from England last year when she came to visit me in Cincinnati. I met Melissa from New Zealand when she came to visit me this summer and we all decided she should go to P'Town too, as long as she was in the neighborhood, eh? Very exciting.
I love my internet/REAL friends bigger than the sky. I had a wonderful time with you ladies and I hope I will see you all again sometime in the future. Oh and if you see anything you don't like in the video, email or facebook me and I'll take it down and re-edit.
I am also looking forward to meeting those of you who say you're going to come to Cincinnati and and visit me--you know who you are. Come on, let's do it!

Protecting Shellfish with Porous Pavement in Provincetown
If you’ve ever spent a sunny summer day in Provincetown, Massachusetts, you know that it’s a bustling tourist town at the very end of Cape Cod. The main thoroughfare – Commercial Street – is lined with restaurants, shops, homes and B&Bs, all of which have a lovely view of Provincetown Harbor.
On rainy days, however, that proximity to the harbor can present a problem for the shellfish beds just off shore. When stormwater hits the ground and runs down the road, it runs by animal waste, trash debris and a lot of things that carry contaminants. It goes into a drain, then into one of 25 outfall pipes, which gets discharged into Provincetown Harbor.
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Cape Cod Conservation District and other partners came up with an innovative solution: replace the traditional asphalt with porous pavement.
