Pura Pabean juga terletak di sekitar pantai Pulaki yang menghadap ke arah lautan lepas.

West Bali #1 Pura Melanting (next to Pura Pulaki) by Hans & Fifi
Part one of our trip to the west: the Pura Melanting, built on the feet of a rocky hill (near Banyupoh, 60 km west of Singaraja) , where specially the business people are going for praying for good business and protection. It is also the temple of the goddess Bhatari Melanting, the daughter of the famous holy Danghyang Nirartha, who came from Java round the 16th century. The temple in his form today is designed by Ida Bagus Tugur and houses a beautiful pond, spectacular dragons and a pelinggih gedong decorated in a rainbow with many colours. Already the steps to the temple are alreay stunning, as both sides are decorated with impressive nagas and lotus flowers, to show the path to the goddess.

We spent amazing 3 weeks on Bali island, which is in our opinion one of the most beautiful island in the World!
During our 3 weeks trip around this Indonesian island we stayed in two different location.
We cant compare those places regarding customer service, staff, or facilities because both of them was extremely good! We were feel like in home :)
However is a lot of things which made difference like localization, landscape around, the way of management those places and general styling.
MAYO RESORT:
Our first destination was North Bali that part we spent in Mayo Resort 4**** hotel. Mayo is on the sparkly black sands of the beach near Seririt. It is isolated from any shops or nightlife and noise. To feel relax only what you have to do is watch on spectacular sea just in front of your eyes.
You can try delicious Balinese or European food while enjoying a remarkable view from the waterfront bar and restaurant! This place is especially recommended for couples. If you’re looking for a romantic atmosphere don't worry... the amazing sunset will do the trick :)

BALI LUSH:
Second place was located in the South, where surrounded rice pads are just breath taking! Bali Lush is like a last piece of authentic Bali lost somewhere in the rain forest. Wooden more than 200 years old cottages, but equipped in every thing what you need to make your stay as much comfortable as it possible. Outside bathroom and heart shape swimmingpool conquer our hearts! Peaceful, tropical place filled with life and many signs of an old spiritual culture.
This place is runned by full of energy and ideas couple. If I could describe them in one word it will be naturelovers!
All what you get on your plate is comming from their own organic plantation and trust me we couldnt find any better food on whole Island after.

Our visit to the temple the Pura Penimbangan in Singaraja. In the good company of A.A. Ngurah Sentanu and his daughter Ayu. We arrived there after visiting the Pura Siwa Manik Dalang in Pemaron, not far from there, and in some connection with each other. See the videos:
Immediately we had the feeling we have been here before. And so it was. In 2006. I found the pictures in my archives. But now we were able to approach it from the seaside. In 2006 that was impossible. But just like in 2006 it was closed. But we had a very good view over the temple now and A.A. Ngurah Sentanu told us us the story connected with the temple.
In the time that Panji Sakti was the ruler over Singaraja and still considered as the first and very great king, a Chinese boat shipwrecked on the coral, close where we are now at the temple. Panji Sakti helped them with his sakti of the keris. In great gratitude the Chinese merchant gave Panji Sakti ceramics and other precious Chinese artifacts from the boat. Also to make it more light and could go again.
In the temple there should be a Chinese shrine. After some looking we could spot it: An Happy Chinese Buddha. A very good experience again. Thanks.
