12 HOURS ROMANIA TO BULGARIA BUS | Bucharest to Plovdiv Travel Vlog 2018
Romania to Bulgaria by bus was a long travel day! In this travel vlog we left Bucharest and arrived in Plovidv more than 12 hours later...⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇
The bus from Romania to Bulgaria was actually really easy and cheap. Although it was a long day of travel as the vlog suggests, but we were happy with being patient on the way out from Bucharest.
Arriving in Bulgaria was nearing the end of the travel day, but we still had to grab another local bus to get to Plovidv - our home for the next few vlogs.
The bus around Europe seems to be an easy way to go and even though this travel vlog was showing our 12 hour day it was still pretty painless! Now we've arrived in Bulgaria after a week or so in Bucharest and ready to explore a new city - Plovdiv!

Wines of Romania - Pure Experiences
Wines of Romania - Pure Experiences is a documentary film shot as a travelogue that follows Robert Marshall, an Englishman living in Romania, throughout his journey to discover Romanian wineries and their surrounding regions.
Robert is a wine specialist who wanted to learn more about Romanian grape varieties and so he travelled around the country, during weekends, to discover where these vines grow and learn more about their history. In this episode, Robert travels to the birthplace of the white grape variety - Fetească Regală.
Cycling around the countryside, Robert visits several places in central Romania and experiences the beautiful landscapes and an authentic culture, rich in history. He meets people passionate about their lives and work and they share with him their unique experiences and stories.
He smiles, laughs and even dances with them, tastes local wines, savours delicious home-cooked dishes and this hugely enjoyable experience is captured and documented for us.

Our first day exploring Bucharest and we head to the old town - the city center of the Romania capital - to get a feel for what it's like to travel here. The old town is understandably touristy, as any city center like that is, but was an awesome place to walk around and vlog.
Bucuresti, as it's known to locals, has a really unique feel to it that we're struggling to put our finger on. This is our first time in Romania and there's still so much more we need to see, vlog and travel of the country. Be sure to subscribe to see more of our Bucharest vlogs!

Romania - Land of Contrasts
Romania Land of Contrasts
Travel to Romania to see the life of the villagers, this element that makes this country to be so different and pure. Granted, you can find many villages in all East European countries, and they are all quite the same. But this is only at the surface. The mix between beautiful, rich nature and happy and creative people has generated these differences between villages.
The roads are endless and so is the beauty of this country.

Paliament Palace, Bucharest, Romania
Parliament Palace, Bucharest, Romania.
Palace of Parliament is still the tallest building in Bucharest and is the second largest building in the world.
Ceausescu wanted to build in Bucharest the Victory of Socialism Centre. The Unirea Boulevard is the former Victory of Socialism boulevard. The biggest palace in the world, having 84m high, a number of unknown storey on underground (anti-atomic) the second biggest building in the world by area (330,000m2) was to be the central element of Ceausescu's Communist Bucharest. It was build for Presidency, Parliament and Government. Today it serves as the seat of the Romanian Deputies Chamber Parliament.
Ceausescu tried to escape in 22-Dec-1989 using a helicpoter that took off from the Royal Palace on actual Revolution Plaza crowded with anger Romanian Revolutionaries. Ceausescu was captured by the people and army forces and was executed on Christmas Day, 1989. At that time only the outside façade and three interior rooms had been completed. The Union hall's 1,000 m2, 14-ton carpet was woven with special machines. 3,500 tons of crystal were used for the chandeliers. The heftiest chandelier in the small parliament hall weighs three tons (6000 lbs) and has 7,000 light bulbs. Romanians are proud that the building was designed solely by Romanian architects using purely Romanian materials.
Romania, Village Life in Transylvania
A beautiful little documentary of village life in Gyimes, in the South Eastern Carpathians in 2018. Ancient, vernacular, small farm-houses line the stoned side roads on which horse-drawn vehicles carry logs, hay, stone and people this way and that all day long. Most people live by small-scale farming producing their own honey, cheese, bread, veg and fruit, milk and meat. Water is always from the well, pure, sparkling and cold. Cows and sheep wear bells and high above the village the mountain meadows hum with insect life while the extraordinarily rich flora remains untouched by sprays and chemicals.
Szekler people, Romania's Hungarian speaking minority live in Gyimes, which now lies within Bacau county. The history of the area and its association with Transylvania, is very complicated .... I am no historian and apologise for any errors I have made.
Enjoy the film, all taken with a little, hand-held Panasonic HC X920.
Urban Romania
Urban Romania
Travel to Romania because to explore a land of contrasts, therefore it has a great diversity and cultural richness. As you may have read in the history section, there are both Dacian and Latin cultural fundaments, but also many Slavic, Ottoman, Hungarian and even Western Europe (France, Germany) influences. This is the reason of having such beautiful and diverse castles, fortress, cities and churches built in different periods, starting from 500 BC until these last centuries. We have well known artists all over the world and also many cultural events throughout the year.
Some of Europe's best-preserved medieval towns, most notably Sighisoara, Brasov and Sibiu, are located in Romania.

Romania has a diversified geography. It has a long coastline at the Black Sea, filled with sand beaches, the Danube Delta, many rivers, the Carpathian Mountains and plenty of hills and plains. Here you can find everything, due to the temperate climate and the four seasons, which bring in new and wonderful colors every 3 weeks.
Romania is a land of natural beauty, where all types of landscapes are to be found, from mountain peaks, home to chamois and reaching 2,000m, where you can walk among alpine vegetation, to plains, coastline and the Danube Delta, the world's third most bio-diverse delta. In Romania's many national parks, nature parks and reservations, you can see so many specimens protected by the law at European and international level you might
