Our 2nd day in the amazing massive port city of Kaohsiung, south of Taiwan ????????????
We went biking around Cijin Island (300ntd for 2hrs) and took instagram worthy photos of the Rainbow Church ????????♀️????

Cijin District (Chinese: 旗津區; Hanyu Pinyin: Qíjīn Qū; Tongyong Pinyin: Cíjin Cyu; Wade–Giles: Ch'i2-chin1 Ch'ü1; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Kî-tin-khu) is a district of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, covering Cijin Island. It is the second smallest district in Kaohsiung City after Yancheng District.

The place is worth it to visit in Kaohsiung! Though you will get sun burn if you plan to go around 12 noon. I recommend for you to visit the place at around 3pm onwards. Near the Gushan Terminal, they coffee shops, food stalls, Milk tea shops... ENJOY AND BE INFORMED! #ENGLISHVERSION

Taiwan vlog Day 10: Kaohsiung: Sizihwan, Cijin Island(Windmill Park & Rainbow Church) + Love River!
Last day in Kaohsiung!(:
Went to the Sizihwan district, recommended by a local(the cute grandma I met a day prior!). Since it's nearby Cijin island, I decided to take the ferry there. It only takes about 10 minutes or less and cost I think $20 NTD for students with student ID and around $50 NTD for adults.
The island was actually really cool! With a lot of food vendors, attractions, activities, and etc. It wasn't that hard to get around either. You can rent a bike or ride the traditional bikes or take a bus around the island. I went to the Wind turbine park and the Rainbow church. (Also saw the giant sea shell :D) I didn't get to see the lighthouse due to time but it's a popular attraction as well.
Lastly, the Love River! The grandma told me that the Love River used to be really polluted and now they cleaned it up and made it a beautiful attraction(: It's a nice relaxing place to take a stroll around but that's about it haha.

To get to Cijin Island, you’ll need to take the Kaohsiung MRT to Sizihwan Station. From there, it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to Gushan Terminal where you can take a quick ferry to Cijin Island. A ferry ticket will cost you NTD 25 each way. You can pay for this using an easy card if you have one.
