Aurora Province: The Treasure of the Philippines
The Aurora Province is located on the East-Central part of Luzon Island, the main Island of the Philippines. The province of Aurora covers the eastern portion of the Sierra Madre Mountains, hence it is generally mountainous. Its coastline spans 332 kilometres in length. Aurora is a province blessed with an abundance of tourist attractions. It has its share of historical sites such as the home and resthouse of former Phil-ippine President Manuel L. Quezon. The province also has a beautiful Catholic church and several historical markers. Its natural attractions include picturesque waterfalls, lush greenery on mountainsides, and panoramic beaches. Surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, mountain climb-ing and trekking are only some of the activities you can enjoy in Aurora. The social life is dominated by a mixture of old traditions of the natives and modern arts. So the displeasing dances of former head hunters can be admired as well as the work of highly talented artists of today's time. The population lives predominantly on farming and skilled crafts. It is conspicuous how engaged scientists work out solutions for an eco-logical lasting way of managing agriculture and to increase the conser-vation management. The influence of Spanish conquerors in Auroras history is still present at many places trough to the architectural style of historic buildings. Also a big Part of the population is Catholic.

The Php 245 Million Underpass in Lucena City // The First Underpass in South Luzon
The first underpass in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region expected to ease travel to Bicol region and southern part of this province was inaugurated and officially opened to motorists here on Wednesday.
Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar led the inauguration of the 419-meter, four-lane underpass that was constructed on Diversion Road in Barangay Gulang-Gulang this city.
Villar, who also led the official drive-through of the infrastructure project, said it took two years to be completed, with a total fund of PHP245 million.
He thanked Quezon 2nd District Rep. David Suarez for his help to finish the project.
Villar said the road project is part of President Rodrigo Duterte's “Build, Build, Build” program, rolls out road networks to decongest major roads and highways and to lessen travel time between provinces.
The underpass will benefit motorists traveling to Bicol region from Metro Manila and vice versa for they need not pass through the intersection of Diversion Road in the area, lessening travel time.

Luzon is the largest and most populous island in the Philippines and the 15th largest in the world. Located in the northern region of the archipelago, it is the economic and political center of the nation, being home to the country's capital city, Manila, as well as Quezon City, the country's most populous. With a population of 48 million as of 2010, it is the fourth most populous island in the world, containing about 53% of the Philippines' total population.
Luzon may also refer to one of the three primary island groups in the country. As such, it includes the Luzon mainland, the Batanes and Babuyan groups of islands to the north, Polillo Islands to the east, and the outlying islands of Catanduanes, Marinduque, Masbate, Romblon, Mindoro, and Palawan, among others, to the south.

EXPLORING BALER, AURORA - Best SURFING SPOT in Luzon PHILIPPINES
We explored Baler, Aurora in Luzon Philippines for the second time and we had fun! We went to Sabang Beach in Baler and discovered a great surfing spot and super friendly people!

Philippines Street Food in Hundred Islands | Best Secret Spot to Eat and Island Hop in Pangasinan
After 2 days of the Pangasinan Food Crawl, Decided to go on a island hopping adventure for half a day in Hundred Islands Alaminos, Pangasinan Philippines. Surprised to find some Philippines street food in some islands especially in Cuenco Island and Quezon Island. We only visited 5 out of 100 islands due to limited time.
We'll definitely come back again to check the other islands.
