Historical Prague along Vltava River, Czechia - Timelapse Video
Prague, the capital city of Czechia (Czech Republic), is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world and rightly so. Praha has a wonderful mix of different historical architectural styles from Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, Rococo, Classicism up to today's modern style. City's setting along #Vltava river surrounded by different hills makes it for lovely location to explore from the river bank or higher grounds.
This timelapse covers UNESCO heritage area with iconic Charles bridge and its towers, Prague castle, thanks to its hillsite location is visible nearly from anywhere in the old town. Explore and enjoy this beautiful city through this timelapse.

This is part 1 of 4 showing a large portion of the Viking Cruises daytime included city tour of Prague in the Czech Republic. Viking offers either pre- or post extensions of their river cruises in a variety of cities., and in this case, in connection with our Danube Waltz cruise (which begins in Passau, Germany), we decided to do the 3 day pre-cruise extension in Prague. During that time, Viking put us up in the Prague Hilton and on the second day, at no additional charge, Viking gives you a daytime city tour of Prague. I captured a great deal of that tour in this video parts 1 to 4. Part of the tour was by bus and part walking. Later that day, we also took an optional night tour which I liked even more and will be posting a separate video of that. This gives you a good idea of that the included daytime Viking city tour of Prague experience would be like.
The One Prague River Cruise Worth Doing
If there's one thing to do in Prague, it's a river cruise. You'll see giant ships and boats that basically look like ferries up and down the Vltava river. But the best river cruise isn't going to be on those (which is why they are so cheap).
We found a cruise that offers 5 different wines in only an hour, has lots of little touches to make it special, and can get to places that the big boats simply cannot.
Totally worth it in our opinion.

Prague, Vltava river cruise, Czech republic - from Charles bridge, view Prague Old Town, Prague Castle, Letná, Štvanice,
The boat departs from the Rašín Embankment and first heads downstream on the Vltava River to the lock chamber at the Šítkovská Water Tower at Žofín Island.
Then it turns left around Střelecký Island, from where you will see the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, then returns through the lock chamber before going upstream towards legendary Vyšehrad and the Žluté lázně resort, where it usually turns around and heads back to the Rašín Embankment.
