Randaberg is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Jæren, at the northern end of the Stavanger Peninsula. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Randaberg. Randaberg is located just north of the city of Stavanger. It is the northernmost conurbation of the Stavanger/Sandnes area, one of the largest urban areas in the country. The Byfjord Tunnel connects the island municipalities of Rennesøy and Finnøy to the mainland of Randaberg. The proposed Rogfast tunnel is to be built from Randaberg, under the Boknafjorden, to the north side of the fjord as well as the island of Kvitsøy. The 25-square-kilometre municipality is the 415th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. Randaberg is the 107th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 10,873. The municipality's population density is 451 inhabitants per square kilometre and its population has increased by 14.4% over the last decade.

St Mary's Church (Norwegian: Mariakirken) is a parish church in Bergen municipality in Hordaland county, Norway. It is located in the Bryggen area in the central part of the city of Bergen.

Et ekte helselag - a real health society - Numedalsnett

This video in Norwegian was shot in 2000. The Uvdal Health Society (Uvdal helselag) in Norway hosted an event with dancing lessons, a presentation of local history and a lottery. These health societies were established at a time when the Norwegian municipalities did not have the responsibility for taking care of (old) people´s health the way they have today. Of course that`s a long time ago, but for years the Uvdal Health Society continued to exist.

The video is from the archives of Numedalsnett in Norway and one of the participants in the video, Mrs. Petra Nymoen, was a long time member of the health society.

Norwegian: Uvdal helselag i Nore og Uvdal ble selvsagt etablert i en tid da Nore og Uvdal kommune - og andre norske kommuner - tok mindre ansvar for (eldre) folks helse enn de har gjort i moderne tid. Men selv etter at helsestellet ble statlig og kommunalt i Norge fortsatte mange helselag med aktiv virksomhet. Videoen er fra arkivet til Numedalsnett og ble publisert i formatet Real Video for mange år siden. Den er fra en kveld da helselaget arrangerte et lysbildeforedrag, en danseleksjon og selvsagt et lotteri.
