Red Brick Art Gallery (Beijing)
Completely on a whim I went with a friend to the outskirts of Beijing to visit an art museum. While it was a tad bit chilly the architecture was simply gorgeous. Without doubt, it was worth being cold. Definitely will have to come back again!

Tiananmen Square, The Red Brick Museum, & The National Museum of China! aBroad in Beijing, China
Video Shows:
Some favorite clips, visiting The Red Brick Museum, The National Museum of China, Tiananmen Square, Mao, and a bit of the subway.
Actual Route:
Subway to Tiananmen, Walk through The National Museum of China (2-4hrs), Stroll Around Tiananmen Square(~20min), Subway to The Red Brick Museum (1hr40min), View the Red Brick Museum (~2hrs)
Subway Route (Tiananmen East Station to Red Brick Museum):
1hr40min including a 14min walk from the station to the museum.
(Go to the main road on your left as you exit the station and follow it straight until you get to a dead end, turn left on to connecting road and walk until you see the museum on your right.)
My goal for the day was mainly to visit these two museums.
Depending on your goals you will probably rather go other areas near Tiananmen.
Popular Options: Forbidden City (Palace Museum), Mausoleum of Mao Zhedong, National Center for the Performing Arts, Jinshan Park, Beihai Park, Qianmen Street Shopping, and Wangfujing Street (further away, must see, shopping and street food).
Take a look at Google maps to note what is near what!
Sorry I don't talk! I'm under a language pledge to only speak Mandarin.

水问 Offering——Beijing Modern Dance Company
Offering is an evolving work, it develops after meeting different situations. It has unlimited communication with people, objects and nature.
In 2007, Gao Yanjin, the artistic director of the Beijing Modern Dance Company, was commissioned by the Dutch International Dance Festival to create the forty minutes work Women of the World which is the previous life of “Offering”. Women of the World is the opening project of the Dance Festival of the year and became the first funding project of the newly established Stichting Chinese CultureleEvenementen Nederland.
In 2018, Offering won China National Arts Fund as the new original drama of Beijing Modern Dance Company. It started its rehearsal on 6th May, and was performed in a special performance, “Xingyin·buli”, jointly produced by Beijing Modern Dance Company and Red Brick Art Museum in July. In the performance, Offering cooperated with Eliasson's installation art, causing a strong response from the cultural and art circles;
