LONDON WALK | Regent's Park on a Summer’s Afternoon | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour of Regent's Park, taking a relaxing stroll along The Broad Walk on a beautiful summer’s afternoon.
See all the sights as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring Regent’s Park. The route begins at the southern end of Regent's Park and travels up through the park, first taking in the beautiful flowers in the Avenue Gardens, then up along The Broad Walk to Regent's Canal, and finally St Marks Church, where the tour concludes.
Sights seen along the tour include the Avenue Gardens including fountains and the Griffin Tazza (Lion Vase), The Espresso Bar, Ready Money drinking fountain, a glimpse of London Zoo, and Regent's Canal with kayakers, narrowboats and the Feng Shang Princess (a floating, red pagoda Chinese restaurant).
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded August 2017.

Exploring Regent's Park, London, England
It's time to go exploring Regent's Park, in London, England! Regent's Park is one of the city's biggest parks, just North of London's West End near Baker Street and Regent's Park tube stations on the underground. Like the famous Hyde Park, Regent's Park is huge, and to my mind a superior experience. If you are visiting, bear in mind that it is pretty easy to spend a whole day here: you have the park itself, a boating lake, several cafes, London Zoo (at the time of filming £30 per adult and £22 per child over 3 years of age), and just outside the park, Regent's Canal, and a short distance away is Madam Tussaud's and also Camden Market, plus the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

ABOUT ALPHATUCANA
We are fundamentally alone in this vast and mysterious Universe, but we don't want to be. In the struggle to survive, to 'succeed', or to just get by, we sometimes forget the bigger picture, and we sometimes forget to just relax for a while and remember what an amazing world this is. There is plenty to look at: science, Nature, society... And there are plenty of games to help us get away from it all, since as humans we have a built-in need to play as well as to explore... So on this channel, I vlog about science, Nature, current affairs and much else besides, I upload sightseeing videos showing London, England, or my holidays elsewhere, and I upload gameplay videos. So why not join in for a while and see what you think?
POSTING SCHEDULE
This depends in part on whether I have had time to record videos in between going to work and living the rest of my life! Usually it runs like this:
- Sat or Sun: a vlog or sightseeing video at midday (UK time).
- Gameplay videos: pretty random - typically at midday on weekdays, but not all the time.
- If I have something extra to post it usually appears at some random time :) I may livestream occasionally too.

London's Camden Market and Regent's Park
London's Camden Town and Regent's Park are only a half a mile apart but so different. It's where bazaar meets tranquility. Both are fabulous places to visit in their own right but when you combine the two it makes for a fantastic tourism experience. Camden Market is alive with colorful shops and colorful people. Regent's Park, home of the London Zoo, is alive with colorful gardens and colorful birds swimming on the lake. It's a tale of two cities.

Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks of London. Regent's Park lies within north-west London, partly in the City of Westminster and partly in the London Borough of Camden. contains Regent's University London and the London Zoo. The Regent's Park is Grade I listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
Regent's Park has an outer ring road called the Outer Circle (4.45 km) and an inner ring road called the Inner Circle (1 km), which surrounds the most carefully tended section of the park, Queen Mary's Gardens. Apart from two link roads between these two, the park is reserved for pedestrians. The south, east and most of the west side of the park are lined with elegant white stucco terraces of houses designed by John Nash and Decimus Burton. Running through the northern end of the park is Regent's Canal, which connects the Grand Union Canal to the former London docks.
Regent's Park is mainly open parkland with a wide range of facilities and amenities, including gardens; a lake with a heronry, waterfowl and a boating area; sports pitches; and children's playgrounds. The northern side of Regent's Park is the home of London Zoo and the headquarters of the Zoological Society of London. There are several public gardens with flowers and specimen plants, including Queen Mary's Gardens in the Inner Circle, in which the Open Air Theatre is located; the formal Italian Gardens and adjacent informal English Gardens in the south-east corner of the park; and the gardens of St John's Lodge. Winfield House, the official residence of the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom, stands in private grounds in the western section of the park. Nearby is the domed London Central Mosque, better known as Regent's Park mosque, a highly visible landmark.
Located to the south of the Inner Circle is Regent's University London, home of the European Business School London, Regent's American College London (RACL) and Webster Graduate School among others. On the northern side of Regent's Park is Primrose Hill, another open space, which with a height of 256 feet (78 m) has a clear view of central London to the south-east, as well as Belsize Park and Hampstead to the north. Primrose Hill is also the name given to the immediately surrounding district.
he public areas of Regent's Park are managed by The Royal Parks, a government agency. The Crown Estate Paving Commission is responsible for managing certain aspects of the built environment of Regent's Park. The park lies within the boundaries of the City of Westminster and the London Borough of Camden, but those authorities have only peripheral input to the management of the park. The Crown Estate owns the freehold of Regent's Park.
