SeeByBike (Espanol) - Bicycle Tour of Seville - Bicycle Rental
Visiting Seville, Spain? But as always, not enough time to see everything you wanted?
“Steer your holiday in the right direction with SeeByBike!”
With SeeByBike we literally see more sites for less, with the sturdiest bikes in town and with over 15 years in the industry, our tour guides guarantee the best quality experience in Sevilla.
At SeeByBike we offer a general Daily tour, a customizable Private tour, a tour of the historic Jewish neighborhood, and a riverwalk that tails along Seville’s patchwork of gardens.
For our tours of ancient Seville, we offer each customer water, a map, a bike, and customizable accessories, such as a basket, that we can organize at our office.
The tours all start at 10:30 in the morning and run for 3 hours, except for the private tour - which runs entirely on your schedule!
On the Daily Tour, we cover the biggest attractions and will get a deep understanding of the whole city, covering places like the moorish Palace of Alcazar, and the magnificent Plaza of Spain.
On the Private Tour, we encourage our customers to name sites or simply say what they would like to see, whether it be aesthetics, nature, or a tour focused on history. We rarely have a case that we can’t accommodate. The private tour is also great for private groups and functions.
The Jewish Tour, focuses on the neighborhood of Santa Cruz or “Juderia” - Jewish Neighborhood. This tour leads you down a labyrinth of tight alleyways only to uncover ancient synagogues.
Lastly, along with the listed tours and a renting service, we offer a tour to the City’s life-blood - the River Guadalquivir. In this tour, our experts will lead you to see some of the city’s riverfront flora and gardens.
Worried about how you’re going to find your way around Seville? Don’t worry, we will personally deliver and collect bikes that we rent.

Seville became a two-wheeled wonderland in a blink of an eye. A few years ago only 0.5% of journeys were made by bicycle and now it holds 4th place in the Copenhagenize index by which the quality of bike friendliness is measured all over the world. What is Seville’s secret? You will find out next week in our new feature from the series Bike Friendly Cities.

Seville, City Walk in the Center and Old Town - Spain 4K Travel Channel
Seville is the capital of Andalusia. With 700,000 inhabitants, it is the fourth largest city in Spain. We have chosen a simple but good hotel in the Calle de la Alhóndiga in the old city. From here we can easily reach almost every point of the city by foot. The Calle de la Alhóndiga leads through the Calle Corral del Rey and Calle Argote de Molina straight into the center to the Cathedral of Santa María de la Sede of Seville. In the labyrinth of the old town there are so many things to discover, be it a good restaurant, beautiful patios or the Bordados Foronda, a shop for traditional Andalusian clothes and accessories. Bordados Foronda is also a factory where the articles are produced. The friendly lady in the shop allows us some shots. We first visit the Cathedral, which, due to its size and importance, we have devoted an own contribution, just like the Royal Palace Alcazar.
The cathedral is built on the foundations of a mosque of which only the impressive 97 meter high Giralda Tower remained. It was once the minaret. Between Cathedral and Alcazar, we pass the Archivo de Indias, the third UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in Seville. It is the most important collection on Spain's colonial period. The Archivo de Indias is housed in the building of the former stock exchange. In front of the walls of Alcazar, we listen to to Carlos del Rio for a while, whom we owe this beautiful flamenco music.
Through one of the last remaining city gates, the Oil Postigo del Aceite, we go towards Rio Guadalquivir. To our left are the old shipyards, which were connected to the port. They are among the oldest monuments of Seville. To the right you see the post office.
On the riverbanks we pass the Torre del Oro, which we will show in a separate article. We reach the Avenida de la Constitution. Magnificent buildings impress the visitors. Shortly before the city hall we see some flamenco dancers.
On Placa Nueva we make a break while we watch a little boy who simulates to ride on an one of the electric rental bikes.
We enter the old town of Seville, marvel at the architecture and pass by the Iglesia del Salvador. In addition to designer shops we find grocery stores where you can buy everything, as well as exclusive restaurants and traditional bars. Passing the Metropol Parasol we reach our hotel.

please read more:

Exploring Seville
I went to Seville for a couple of days and took a walk through the city while I was there to see a few sights. Apologies for my appalling lack of information - I'll be more clued up next time! I'll definitely go back to the Real Alcázar and the cathedral because I didn't really get to see them and they're UNESCO World Heritage sites!
It was my first time in Seville and I really like it. Its architecture makes it feel really unique and gives it a lot of character. Also, it's safe to say that the orange juice definitely lives up to the hype! It will be nicer when the temperature's a bit cooler though.
On the second day (the day after I filmed this), I did end up finding a flat. It's in a nice part of town and I'll be sharing with 5 other international students! It's only a 10 minute walk from work/the cathedral and right by a Sevici bike rack (the Seville equivalent of the Boris Bike).
Thanks to Asukay for the music. He's a local musician I met busking on the street and kindly let me video him and use his music. If you want to hear more from him then you can do so here:
