Citybus Limited (Chinese: 城巴有限公司) is one of the three major bus operators in Hong Kong. It provides both franchised and non-franchised bus service. The franchised route network serves mainly Hong Kong Island, cross-harbour routes (between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon/New Territories), Ocean Park, North Lantau (Tung Chung and Hong Kong Disneyland) and Hong Kong International Airport. The non-franchised routes serve mainly City One Sha Tin. It also provides bus rental services and staff bus services for some large companies such as TVB and China Light and Power.
The company is wholly owned by NWS Holdings, who also owns the third largest operator, New World First Bus.[3]
From 1984 to 2001 the company offered a cross-border service between Hong Kong and China using mainly Leyland Olympians, but this was discontinued due to stiff competition. However, in 2007, Citybus began operating route B3, which goes to Shenzhen Bay Port.

In 1998, the China Motor Bus company introduced a last batch of 11m Alexander-bodied Volvo Olympians, VA51 to VA64, which sported a new body designs and interior improvements. Upon the demise of CMB, all the Volvo Olympians were transferred to New World First Bus and subsequently repainted into the company’s standard livery (except VA62 and VA64 which were retained by CMB). In 1999, NWFB purchased 2 12m Plaxton-bodied Volvo Olympians from Hong Kong Airport Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL) and registered them as VA65 and VA66. In 2009, five Olympians, VA51-VA55, were converted to open-top to operate on the Rickshaw Sightseeing tours. Due to a immediate need for extra buses, ten 12m Alexander-bodied Olympians from Citybus were transferred in 2014 to the NWFB fleet. These were registered as VA67-VA76 and were decorated with driver recruitment advertisements except VA75 and VA76 which were decorated in route-branded liveries for routes 18X and 798 respectively. The first Olympians were taken out of service in late 2014, and the last one, Rickshaw bus VA55, was retired in October 2015. A few Olympians were retained as Training Buses (VA58) or were transferred to the Citybus non-franchised fleet as rental buses (VA51 and VA54). This video is a farewell to these four types of Volvo Olympian in the NWFB fleet.
