Killing the Streets of Bogota Colombia - Stunt Riding
Many say the stunt riding of Bogotá takes after street styles found in cities like Medellín (the Colombian capital of street style riding) and the “gringo” street style of the United States. While the Bogotá style may follow trends set in other places, what it lacks in innovation, it makes up for in the sheer number of those involved.

Bogotá, Colombia - Riding Ciclovía
I just arrived in Bogotá, Colombia and have put my trike, Myrtle the Turtle, back together. In this video I introduce my home stay family - Maritza and Antonio Luis before riding Ciclovía and exploring Bogotá by tricycle. Ciclovía is every Sunday and holidays where many miles of roads are closed to car traffic. I found a bike shop and got my flag pole repaired. On the way back to the Ciclovía route I stopped in Plaza de las Mariposas which turns out to be one of the most dangerous places in Bogotá. Someone stole my K1 video camera out of my closed side seat bag but I ran him down and got it back. Someone else tried to steal my other camera. This was very exciting.
I didn't pay attention to the time and had to find my way back to the apartment where I am staying after Ciclovia ended. This turned out to be surprisingly easy as I found bike paths the whole way.
I never expected a city of 8 million people to be so bike friendly.

CRAZY Urban Downhill track! GNARLY riding in Ciudad Bolivar Course Preview | Bogota, Colombia
How gnarly is urban downhill? That new track is so cool to ride. Loving it. To purchase any bike items, use this link. It will support my channel:
During that training lap, I follow Fly Racing Team mate Matt Walker (@mattjwalker) from New Zealand. He is a World Cup Downhill and Enduro World Series racer.
I love urban downhill because it brings the sport directly to the people in the cities. Kids and adults love watching us go fast on the stairs and it gives a dream to follow for many people there.
That new track in Ciudad Bolivar, in Bogota Colombia is no joke! Fast, gnarly and sketchy but it's a tone of fun to ride! So many people, cars, dogs and cats to avoid to make it more interesting.

On my first day I talk with a few locals and find that its not so bad after all in Bogota Colombia. The locals in bogota seem very friendly and well, I havent been robbed yet. Bogota Colombia is the largest city in colombia. Bogota Colombia is also the capital of colombia.
