Walking the streets of Haad Rin Beach on Ko Pha Ngan island Thailand during low season. This is the beach best known for the Full Moon party which happens once a month during the full moon. When its not a full moon this beach is very relaxed and really a good place to unwind for a few days after weeks of island hoping.

Tego dnia pojechaliśmy na południe wyspy Koh Phangan, gdzie znajduje się słynna plaża Haad Rin, znana na całym świecie z odbywającej się tutaj imprezy co miesiąc w pełni księżyca - Full Moon Party. Na wyspe zjeżdza się wtedy mnóstwo ludzi, ceny za noclegi idą mocno w górę :)
Obawialiśmy się tej plaży ze względu na jej popularność, co prawda ludzi było całkiem sporo, ale nie było tłoczno, a morze i plaża jest tutaj najlepsze na całej wyspie, super duże fale zapewniają zabawę bez końca :)

Koh Phangan Hotel - Little Paradise, Haad Rin Beach
Koh Phangan 2018 - In this video i show you a great little cheap and clean hotel i stayed in on Koh Phangan, Thailand. It's called Little Paradise.
Located directly on the south end of Haad Rin, Little Paradise gives you direct access to the beach.
I booked a superior double room online at deadfarang.com for 870 baht per night, that equals bout $36 Australian dollars, and based on the room alone i rate it as one of the best hotel rooms i have stayed in for that price during all my travels.
Little Paradise offers a light breakfast, that includes tea and coffee, toast, butter, jam, so any australians dont forget ot bring the vegemite.
There is only 2 levels, so no elevator and no walking up countless flights of stairs.
Some of the cheaper rooms don't a balcony and only have a window facing the corridor so be aware of that if you want to book a cheaper room.
My room was big, had lots of desk space, tv, i did turn it on once looking for the Australia plus channel or fox news but to no avail and an air conditiner that worked great.
The room also had a fridge, in room safe, lare storage space for bags and clothing aswell as maps and information booklets about koh phangan. the room can be cleaned daily and that includes 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water.
The bathrooms were very modern, almost new looking, has hot water, shower gel and shampoo and definately no complaints from me.
I also had a balcony which can be a great to relax, sit watch a storm, surf the internet on your phone or have a ciggarette.
Reception closes at 10 pm so you need to come in through a side entry after hours.
The is a down side and might be a deal breaker for many ansd that is you can here music late into the night from the drop in bar which is right on the beach at the back of the hotel. to minimise the noise when you make a booking ask for a room as far away from the beach as possible. If you need peace and quiet to sleep little paradise may not be the hotel for you.

Wikipedia :Hat Rin, Thai pronunciation: [hàːt rín]) is a peninsular beach area and town on the southern tip of Ko Pha Ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand. Its two main beaches are Sunset Beach (Haad Rin Nai) to the south and the larger Sunrise Beach (Haad Rin Nok) to the north. The famous Full Moon Party takes place on Sunrise Beach each month.
The town and beach first became popular with backpackers escaping the tourist influx to Ko Samui in the 1980s. As the popularity of the beach and Full Moon Party have increased, the town has grown to accommodate the new visitors. The town is centred on Chicken Corner, a crossroads and popular meeting spot.

We left Koh Samui and made our way by ferry to Koh Phangan, Thailand. Koh Phangan is well known for it’s full moon party’s, this is one of the reason’s why we decided to go there.
We arrived 3 day’s before the full moon party and the island was very quiet. It had turned out that there was an alcohol ban across Thailand for the upcoming election. The restaurants and bar’s and even the stores and street vendors were not able to sell alcohol.
We had an amazing time in Koh Phangan, it has beautiful beaches, great restaurants and awesome yoga classes and even gyms. The island was very chill and layed back. It also had some of the best Indian food that we ever had.
We decided to leave Koh Phangan earlier than planned and make our way back to Koh Samui. If you are looking for some tips on visiting Koh Phangan and Thailand, we recommend watching our youtube video and Thailand playlist.
