A two day road trip filming the River Lee Navigation near London
As a part of a big location shoot at the Canoe Slalom World Championships in Lee Valley, I spent a couple of days filming the River Lee Navigation which runs past the whitewater centre. I discovered another world to what you'd expect in this part of the M25 corridor, with wild orchids, wetlands and a beautiful network of rivers and lakes.

Life Boat along River Lea In Winter Tottenham Hale, London, UK
A sunny winter’s day along River Lea in London, United Kingdom! This was near the Tottenham Hale Tube station. Taking a nice walk when it wasn’t too cold. There were many river boats anchored, but I spotted this Orange one! Frankly, this boat looked like a life boat from a ship! Maybe its use has been converted now to a pleasure craft. Fascinating. These lift boats can find a new lease of life along a calm river. Awesome.
We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn Tottenham Hale. We had a very good stay.

A productive early autumn session after work. I had high hopes of a decent canal bream.... that didn't go to plan.....
However, maggots proved successful, with a good mix of river species. including some pretty rudd.

First day of the fishing season and I was full of expectation for an afternoon and evening session on a stretch of this river I've fished many times. Sadly this was't the best day, in fact I was anxious as the evening ebbed away. Could it be 'A Blank' Oh No!!
