Otis/Schindler Traction Elevators - IDS Center - Minneapolis, Minnesota
This is one of many traction elevators in the IDS Tower in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This accesses floor 51, which I believe is the highest floor accessible to the public (though whatever offices are up there are private). I have heard that these were originally Westinghouse, then modernized by Otis at some point, and maybe even modernized again by Schindler (at least the floor chimes sound like Schindler to me). Either way, these are some really nice, and fast elevators!

Schindler 300A hydraulic elevator at Old Main building, Drake University, Des Moines IA
Shot 8/2/2017.
It always seems like the oldest building on university campuses has a mid 90s elevator. I think you can guess why. In any case, this is a nice change of pace from Dover Impulse in this type of building.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain

If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.
