A Walk Down River Street in Savannah GA - An Aerial View
Please Note...Shot in 2013 when drones were still hand built. So this video was done in the early days of the use of drones and the tech available at that time. When you stop in Savannah. GA, you just have to visit River Street. It is old time buildings with modern shops in them and lots of great food. At one end is a small park with items of interest. One is the Waving Girl who greets the ships as they come and go. We thought it would be a good place to start and end. The other was of the olympic torch that burned during the 1996 summer olympics yachting events along the river.
We also had the pleasure of being able to see the Hyperion, a $30 Million, private sailing yacht. With a mast that is 195 feet tall, it is quite the site and being able to see it from the air really puts it into perspective.
Enjoy the buildings and the area view from the old steel arch foot bridge to the World War II Globe memorial. We even had a police car pass under the quadcoptor. ;)

For this edition of our One-Off series, we headed to sunny Savannah, Georgia, for a college show at Armstrong Atlantic State University with Boys Like Girls. This had to be one of the most fun shows we have ever played. The crowd was screaming, grabbing us, and flashing their cameras all over the place. It was great to meet so many new people after the show as well. We also got a juggling lesson from Phil, and Brandon & Chris showed off their new phones.
