Brinnon is in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. The population was 803 at the 2000 census. The community is named for Elwell P. Brinnon, who, in 1860, took a donation land claim at the river's mouth.[3] Brinnon is the home of Camp Parsons, the oldest Boy Scout camp west of the Mississippi River. It was visited by Lord Baden-Powell in 1926.[citation needed]
Approximately 61 miles (98 km) north of Olympia, Brinnon is located on the Olympic Peninsula's east side, along Hood Canal on the eastern edge of the Olympic National Forest.

Visit to Whitney Gardens in Brinnon Washington on HWY 101
In this video, I give you a look at the Brinnon Gardens and Nursery in the town of Brinnon Washington. It's located on Hood Canal along Highway 101.
We stopped in late April, and the Rhododendrons were in bloom! They have RV parking, and the entrance fee is a single dollar. We enjoyed the break from driving strolling around the property admiring all the blossoms and serene landscapes.
If you are into flower photography, this is an excellent place to go. We are planning a return visit in the fall to see what the site looks like with fall colors. I bet the maple trees look amazing!

Mount Walker - North Summit Vie Panorama - Olympic National Forest
Pano views from the north summit of Mount Walker in the Olympic National Forest. The trailhead is located 5 miles south of the Quilcene Ranger Station, east of 101 off Mount Walker Viewpoint Road. The trail is an unrelenting 2000' climb in 2 miles but worth the views.

Mima Mounds Natural Area Preserve (Olympia, WA)
On a cold February day we set off to crack the mysterious of the world famous Mima Mounds.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tips:
If you find yourself at the sportsman club you should have taken a right at the T. And after about 3 mins you will see the entrance on the left. Parking is maybe 60 stalls and you do need a discover pass.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Buy a pass:
Its cheaper off the official website than at a store. Its a 2 dollar savings because stores charge a vendors fee.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Audio problem:
To make a long story short my cell phone is a GSM phone and when it cant find signal it sends out reconnect waves thus messing up my audio. Or the mounds put out radiation!
