So it’s no secret that I live in Rosarito Beach. On my days off from work I try to get my 2 mile walk in before or after the gym and today I figured I’d walk down to the action. It was the last day of the holiday so mostly locals and people that are from around here but still a good crowd. The beach was buzzin with families and people having fun. Kids playing in the water and parents chasing them telling them to listen. Lol. Reminds me of when my grandmother brought me here as a kid.
So yea. I ran by Iggys, Pappas and Beer and Bombay. Went along the street and then doubled back along the beach. Did a little voice over but nothing too serious. If you guys are heading down to Rosarito, definitely head down here for a little party and some action.

Rosarito is a coastal resort city in the Mexican state of Baja California located approximately 16 kilometres (10 miles) south of the U.S. border in Rosarito Beach Municipality. Often mistakenly called Rosarito Beach because of the well-known Rosarito Beach Hotel, the town of Rosarito is one part of the municipality named Playas de Rosarito (Beaches of Rosarito).
Rosarito Beach is known as a nightlife destination for U.S. visitors due to its proximity to the border. Area beaches known for strong surf include Rosarito in town, Medio Camino in the south and Baja Malibu to the north. Offshore, Rosarito Underwater Park is an artificial reef featuring the remains of Uribe 121, a former navy ship.

VISITING ROSARITO, MEXICO | ATVs, Tacos, Margaritas, and More!
We are BIG fans of visiting Mexico, and one of our favorite places to go is Rosarito, Mexico. We live in San Diego, so it's less than an hour drive which is super easy. Rosarito is home to beautiful beaches, delicious food, and the famous Papas and Beer.
We started our day with a huge breakfast at Pancake Republic, located right next to the iconic Rosarito Beach Hotel. We were so full from the delicious meal we needed to walk it off!
Next, we strolled over to the Rosarito Beach Hotel and its surrounding areas. Eventually ending up on the beach, we bartered with some locals to rent ATVs and ride along the beach.
Riding the adrenaline rush from ATV-riding, we then ventured to Tacos El Yaqui. Home to some of the finest tacos we have ever eaten, we savored our time there and would absolutely make a trip back just for the tacos.
The tacos were followed up with more walking and a few margaritas. We needed an afternoon nap, so returned to the hotel to rest and wash up before dinner.
Later that night, we dined at El Nido. It has a rainforest decor, friendly staff, and delicious food. We were talking with our server and found out there is a wine cellar below it! We ventured down after our meal to investigate.
