As a New York State Farm Distillery, we use International Certification Services certified organic grain from our own Myer Farm—one of the largest and oldest currently operating organic farms in the Northeast United States—to craft distill a range of spirits. At Myer Farm Distillers, we both plant the seed and produce the spirit—from field to flask. Our family has farmed in Ovid since as early as 1810 and has been working the land at our current location since 1868. Brothers Joe and John Myer draw from their deep roots and range of skills and talents to produce the finest estate craft spirits available in our country’s artisan revival.

Governor Cuomo Announces Genesee Brewery Expansion to Create 128 Jobs in Rochester
September 7, 2016, Rochester - Governor Cuomo announced that North American Breweries, Inc. will invest $49.1 million to create a world-class brewery and beer destination at its Genesee Brewery in Rochester. The investment will create 128 jobs, spur development in Northeast Rochester and draw hundreds of thousands of tourists to the area.

Val Bialas Ski Center Center, located on the Memorial Parkway in Utica, is one of only 2 municipally owned ski centers inside city limits in the lower 48 states. Named after local 3 time Olympian ice skater Valentine Bialas this hill is a true asset to the Utica community. The ski center is located in Roscoe Conkling Park on Memorial Parkway. We offer a chairlift, tow rope, night skiing, new ski chalet complete with snack bar and double sided fireplace. We have 5 trails at different degrees of difficulty and separate sledding hill. In addition to downhill skiing, the winter sports complex offers over 7 miles of groomed cross country trails. There are varying degrees of difficulty to accommodate all levels of skiing ability.

- If you've recently moved to Southern California or are just visiting you've probably been told you need to go to In-N-Out Burger. This regional fast-food chain is a family-owned fast-food chain that has been a SoCal favorite since the first one opened in October 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder.

Buffalo Wild Wings is an American casual dining restaurant and sports bar franchise in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, which specializes in Buffalo wings and sauces.

As of June 2017, it had 1,237 locations (625 directly owned by the company, and 612 franchised locations) across all 50 U.S. states and DC. An alternate nickname in recent usage by the company is B-Dubs.
History
Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in 1982 by Jim Disbrow, Scott Lowery, and Bernard Spencer. Disbrow, Lowery, and Spencer came up with the idea one weekend when they got together in Kent, Ohio, for Disbrow to judge an amateur figure skating competition at Kent State University in 1980. They decided to open up their own restaurant, first in Columbus, Ohio, and then in Westerville, Ohio one year later.
Originally called Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, from which the abbreviation bw-3 was created (the third W was for the beef on weck sandwich, a staple of the Buffalo region), in 1990 Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck began to franchise. In 1998, the name was changed to Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar.
The corporate headquarters was located in Cincinnati, Ohio until 1997 when it moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In 2010, the company announced an expansion into Canada. In 2015, Buffalo Wild Wings expanded in the United Arab Emirates when it opened a restaurant in Dubai.
Concept
The chain is best known for Buffalo-style chicken wings along with over a dozen dipping sauces, as well as a complement of other items such as chicken tenders and legs. The chain's menu also features appetizers, burgers, tacos, salads, and desserts, along with beer, wine, and other beverages. They are known for their famous Blazin Wing Challenge. They challenge customers to eat 12 of their hottest wings under six minutes. The winners receive a free T-shirt and get their picture on their wall of fame. The restaurants feature an open layout with a bar area and patio seating flanked by over 50 televisions and media screens. Starting in 2016, the new restaurants being built follow a new type of layout that gives the guests the feeling as if they were actually in a sports stadium. Server uniforms consist of gray shorts and jerseys with the number 82, signifying the year that the chain was established in 1982. Not only is the chain attributable to its famous wings, beer, and sports, but it is also recognized as a big partner with the organization the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Multiple times a year, the company does fundraisers and accepts monetary donations that are later given to the Boys and Girls Club that allows them to participate in extracurricular and sporting events.
