ABOUT US
Welcome to Grand Adventure, a YouTube channel that focuses on RV-centric outdoor activities including not only of course camping, but also mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and more, nearly always filmed in stunning 4K.
We're based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and invite you to come along as we travel all around the western U.S. My wife Patricia and I, and our dogs Zoe and Maggie are avid boondockers, so you'll seldom find us in RV parks or even dry campgrounds. Instead, we're usually camped in some of the most remote and beautiful spots that you could ever pull a travel trailer into. And unlike most other RV channels on YouTube, we're not RV dealers or full-timers -- we're weekend warriors just like you!
We'll provide tips and insight on equipping and maintaining your RV, trip planning and travel videos to make your next adventure a grand one indeed! So, subscribe to make sure that you catch every episode, and remember...life is nothing but a Grand Adventure!

2018 Pikes Peak Drive Up || Full HD || Scenic Drive in Colorado ||$10 each, worth it? || 미국여행
Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, in North America. The ultra-prominent 14,115-foot fourteener is located in Pike National Forest, 12 miles west of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. The mountain is named in honor of American explorer Zebulon Pike, who was unable to reach the summit. The summit is higher than any point in the United States east of its longitude.
GoPro Drive in Colorado Highway 103 in the Mountains
Driving to Mt. Evans up HWY 103 to Echo Lake Lodge and then up. From our trip back from Evergreen, CO the weather was perfect for a quick drive with the GoPro Camera.
SEE More Things in Colorado at
We stopped at Echo Lake Lodge for a snack and to see the Gift Shop, up the Mountain to Mount Goliath and the wonderful Trees, to Summit Lake, right next to the Mountain Goats enjoying their afternoon meal, and up to the Vista to the Highest Hiking Trail in the US.
Mount Evans is a 14,265 feet (4,348 m) mountain in the Front Range region of the Rocky Mountains, in Clear Creek County, Colorado. It is one of 54 fourteeners (mountains with peaks over 14,000 feet (4,300 m)) in Colorado, and the closest fourteener to Denver. It is often compared to Pikes Peak - another Front Range fourteener - which it exceeds in elevation by 154 ft (50 m).
The peak is one of the characteristic Front Range peaks, dominating the western skyline of the Great Plains along with Pikes Peak, Longs Peak, and nearby Mount Bierstadt. Mount Evans can be seen from over 100 miles away to the east, and many miles in other directions.
Mount Evans dominates the Denver Metropolitan Area skyline, rising over 9,000 feet above the area. Mount Evans can be seen from points south of Castle Rock, up to (65 miles (105 km) south) and as far north as Fort Collins (95 miles (153 km) north), and from areas near Limon (105 miles (169 km) east).
High in the Rockies - #SUMMER2019 Episode 11
After a wonderful time in New Mexico, we enter Colorado. I visit Durango, briefly, and after an unpleasant experience at the campground, I continue north towards Silverton and Ouray The Switzerland of America. We end the day as we arrive at the Valley of the Gods, in Utah.

Scenic Byways | Drive on Colorado Highway 103
Mount Evans is the road into the sky. Drive from 8,700 feet at Idaho Spring where you turn off Interstate 70 to 14,240 feet to the summit, and you will pass through 3 life zones, passing ancient trees, lakes and forest to the land above timberline. It can be 90 degrees in Denver and 40 degrees at the top of Mount Evans. - See More at
Mountain Goats and Bighorn Sheep will greet you as you climb to the top of the world. [Google Latitude & Longitude (39.6567121, -105.59623)]
At the turn of the last century, Colorado Springs and Denver were in a race for the hearts and minds (not to mention dollars) of the eastern tourist. In 1888, the Cascade and Pikes Peak Toll Road Company completed a 16-mile road up the north side of Pikes Peak. This became a major tourist attraction, drawing tourists away from Denver Area. Not to be outdone, Denver's Mayor Peer proposed that a road be constructed to the top of Mount Evans. In 1917, he procured state funds to build the road. It was completed in 1927.
During the summers of 1941 and 1942, Denver Mountain Parks built the Crest House (also known as Summit House). It quickly became a favorite destination of Coloradans and tourists. Containing both a restaurant and a gift shop, one could enjoy superb food and buy Mount Evans souvenirs while enjoying a panoramic view of Denver and the eastern plains. Unfortunately, it burned on September 1, 1979 and was not rebuilt, but the rock foundation and wall remain as an observation platform and a windbreak for mountain travelers.

Travel Guide New Mexico tm Sandoval County The Jemez Mountain Trail
The Jemez Mountain Trail twists through time and terrain, contrasting vermilion desert cliffs and snowy alpine peaks, 13 th century stone dwellings and the birth of the Atomic Age in nearly the same breath. Travelers may fish canyon waters at dawn, don snowshoes for a woodland trek, explore ancient Pueblo ruins and view elk crossing an immense volcanic caldera all in the same day.
The trail begins at the junction of U.S. 550 and N.M. 4 in the pastoral village of San Ysidro, named for the patron saint of farmers. Passing a restored church of the same name, N.M. 4 slowly winds past Jemez Pueblo, home to more than 3,000 tribal members who call the village Walatowa in their native language, Towa. Jemez Pueblo sits at the gateway to the spectacular Canon de San Diego, where the road bisects reddish-orange cliffs as it enters the Red Rocks of the Jemez. The Walatowa Visitor Center (877-733-5687) is wedged in these rocks, along with roadside stands selling crafts, fry bread and red and green chile stew. Jointly operated by Jemez Pueblo and the Santa Fe National Forest, the visitor center houses a museum and gift shop and provides information about the area.
Ayres Natural Bridge Park,..Wyoming!
On Tuesday September 13th 2011, We stopped by the Ayres Natural Bridge Park, Located in Converse County Wyoming! How to get here: On I-25 about 11 miles west of Douglas Wy. Get off exit #151, Go south for about 3 or 4 miles to the end of paved road. At the end you will be at Ayres Natural Bridge Park! When entering this park, Stop by the kiosk & sign the register guest book, & then pick yourself up a pamphlet telling the basic history of this beautiful park! Please don't forget to leave a donation in the donation box as well! No matter the amount donated! Every gift counts! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the caretakers. She was going through the park just before 8pm checking on everything just before closing time. Come to find out,... Larry, The fisherman in this video. He actually lives about an hour away from us here in Wisconsin! He was spending the summer in Wyoming with friends & family! LOL! I got caried away just a little bit, I chatted so long with him that I was late for dinner! I don't know where the time went! So I had to make my own meal on the grill! LOL! Well,... I hope that you all enjoy this video! I had a lot of fun capturing the footage & pictures! My 1st visit here was way back in late October 1998, I needed to get away from everyone & everything for a while, So I took a much needed trip! Just my Pup ( Stacy ) & I & the open road!,........ I never tire of Ayres Natural Bridge Park!
