The Bombers Are Here!
Sentimental Journey”, the B-17 bomber that was in Winnipeg in 2013, will be returning to the museum along with “Maid in the Shade”, a B-25. Both aircraft are part of the Commemorative Air Force, Arizona Wing.
Bristling with gun turrets, large bomb bays and powerful Wright Cyclone radial engines, the B-17 and B-25 became some of the most famous Allied bombers of WW II.
