Ruidoso, New Mexico: Hometown Vlog
Ro and I took a trip down to southeast New Mexico to Lincoln County to see my hometown: Ruidoso, New Mexico! We took some great footage of winter in Ruidoso, complete with snow, elk, deer, and mountain views from all around my small mountain town.
We plan to visit Ruidoso again in the summer when even more beautiful places are a little more accessible to get to (and a little warmer to film), like Bonito Lake and Grindstone Lake.
For now, enjoy this short visit to Ruidoso, including footage from Midtown (the shopping in Ruidoso), Lookout Point, Camelot Mountain, High Sierra Condominiums (where I used to be a manager - overlooking the Inn of the Mountain Gods resort and casino), and, of course, my parents' neighborhood.

I'll share tips along the way that helped during our stay, as well as just helpful tips for family travel in general. On the blog at Urban Cowgirl, I'm adding our itinerary, as well as my recommendations when traveling through from the east. (We drove from Dallas.)
