GLORIOUS RYDAL MOUNT
Rydal Mount was the home of the poet William Wordsworth from 1813, until his death in 1850. It was where he spent the second half of his life and gives a powerful insight into this part of his life. The gardens are a stunning example of ideals of the Romantic poets.

Rydal Mount
Rydal Mount is a house in the small village of Rydal, near Ambleside in the English Lake District. It is best known as the home of the poet William Wordsworth from 1813 to his death in 1850.Wordsworth was born in Cockermouth in Cumberland in 1770, and knew the Lake District well from his childhood. He moved away to study at the University of Cambridge in 1787, and then travelled in Britain and Europe for 12 years. He spent over 8 years at Dove Cottage in nearby Grasmere from 1799 to 1808, but was forced to move to accommodate his growing family and many visitors. After a period in Allan Bank in Grasmere, the Wordsworths moved to Rydal Mount in 1813.more info visit:

Rydal Gardens - Ambleside
We had a short walk in the Rydal Gardens and surrounding areas.
Located between Grasmere and Ambleside in Cumbria, England
it is a very beautiful place to visit if you are passing by.
Rydal is significant in the history of English Romantic literature.

The village of Hawkshead in Lake District has two tourist's attractions; Old Grammar School where William Wordsworth learned and Beatrix Potter Gallery where the original artworks of her books are exhibited.
Rydal Hall, Lake Distict [Part II]
It was absolutely beautiful place here in the Lake District.
The location is perfect for walking. The grounds and waterfall are stunning.
As a group of students, we enjoyed it here.
