Xavier arrived at the Memorial Church. The Gothic church built in 1931 to commemorate the propagation of the Catholic priest Xavier to Japan. In Japan, it is rare that there are many sites visited by kolrik called believers. The children hear sounds outside the cathedral. The children look just like the angels came down from heaven. When you come down the staircase and sections of the cemetery. This section looks over a church steeple. East and West is the iconic landscape of Hirado mixed. Another clause yard pass length. Hirado terms and immaculate rustic look over the garden. I lost snooping distance the other way is the charm of Ole. A landscape not have seen if you know the way. Back along the ribbon down to the village. I met a large cycad trees have been received and 400 years. Miranda was not at the house of a wealthy trader. During the Edo period, it seems to show the prosperity of Hirado. Rest while sitting on a small hill bench. Hirado and the town looks in the other direction. Coming down the stairs there is a correlation Netherlands. Was installed in 1609 was transferred to Dejima in Nagasaki when seclusion command. The building will be restored.

Aomori night streets are full of colorful lights and people. The lantern festival, held every August, is the Aomori Nebuta festival. The Nebuta Festival, a huge floodlit march of more than 5 meters high, marches across the town is one of the three great festivals in Japan. Nebuta is followed by a procession of dancers and performers. And the festive heat gets hotter as people shout slogans and follow the people in the towns. Through the festival from child to adult, both sexes become one. The gigantic lanterns, the Nebuta procession, seem to be an omnipotent linking villages, people, and people's hearts and minds. The people watching on the streets admire the deliberately made lamps and applaud their cheers with heartfelt dedication to the long-time Nebuta for a year. The festival here is really big. Where are you from? I'm from Germany. There is a small festival in Germany with children carrying their backs in November, but the festival here is really big. It's amazing, is not it? Yes. Did you play? I played. Which team? We are a global team. Where are you going to ask? Yes. Moving up and down. Can you do that? Why can not we do that? I can do this. There is also a place to rent. This is a yukata. This is Okoshi, the name of the band. I have a bell on the back of my darsity. Do you want the bell to sound when you play? If you bring the bell, you will be happy because the tourists will pick you up. Did you come to the family? It is the night when the Nebuta Festival, where everyone becomes a family, deepens. It was a night where I could feel the festive souls of the people of Aomori who gathered for a year and gathered passion and enthusiasm of people.

Sensō-ji is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa (浅草), Tokyo. It is Tokyo's oldest temple that opened in 645 AD. Formerly associated with the Tendai (天台宗) sect of Buddhism, it became independent after World War II. Adjacent to the temple is a Shinto (神社) shrine, the Asakusa Shrine (浅草神社). During the Edo period (江戸時代) between 1603 and 1867, shogun (将軍, meaning military dictator) Tokugawa Ieyasu (徳川 家康) designated the temple as a government facility.

SETSUBUN FESTIVAL TRAVEL DIARY | JCMU | Emily Tsuda
Setsubun Festival is held all over Japan on February 3rd. Setsubun directly means seasonal division where the seasons are changing into spring! The festival is also known as the bean throwing festival where roasted beans are thrown at the Oni (demon) while people say demons out! Luck in! in Japanese.
The purpose of the beans is because it is considered purifying and throwing it drives the evil spirits that might have misfortune away.
It's an interesting festival, but a lot of fun!
This festival is held all over Japan, but the one I attended was in Taga, Japan, NE of Shiga Prefecture.
This was filmed while I was studying abroad with JCMU (Japan Center for Michigan Universities).
