Monument of Apostle Paul - Church St. Nicholas
A synthesis of mosaic 35 square meters is placed at the step of Apostle Paul, in the city of Kavala next to the Church of Agios Nikolaos, with tittle The arrival of the Apostle Paul in Neapolis of Philippi.
Apostle Paul during his tour (49-50 AD) in Asia saw a vision of a Macedonian man standing and begging him: Come over to Macedonia and help us. This vision was the reason to come and preach for Christ, the Resurrection and the Church in Europe.
The winter of 49 a.D St. Paul disembarked for the first time on European soil, in Naples. From Naples went to Philippi (via the old Egnatia Str.) which was then one of the major cities of Eastern Macedonia and Roman colony to declare his faith.
At this point, that allegedly was the landing of St. Paul, a monument honoring his first steps was created.

Romania's Orthodox Christians honour the dead
(13 Apr 2017) Every Thursday during the holy week of Easter, Orthodox Christians in a small southern Romanian village travel to a local graveyard before sunrise for a traditional ritual at friends and relatives' gravesides.
As part of Copaciu's centuries-old ritual, candles are lit, incense is released, and small bags of food stuffs are left on the ground.
Some say that the fires and smoke guide the souls of the dead during the night.
Others say the fires would keep snakes - a symbol of evil - away from those buried underground.
Villager Marinescu Elisabeta, 76, says that millet seeds are left on the ground to keep the spirits of the dead busy.
Seventy-four year-old Canea Elena explains that she has been taking part in the tradition since childhood, travelling to the graveyard at 1 a.m. as per her grandmothers' instructions.

Travel Lithuania - Visiting St. Michael Church in Kaunas
Take a tour of St. Michael Church in Kaunas, Lithuania -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
At the center of the gorgeous town of Kaunas, Lithuania is a magnificent domed cathedral.
St. Michael the Archangel Church, built in the 1890s, stands majestically as a Neo-Byzantine style catholic sanctuary.
Though it currently functions as Roman Catholic, it was initially built as a Russian Orthodox Church for soldiers stationed at Kaunas Fortress.
The cupolas atop the building were constructed as vantage points for military troops defending the city.
When the Soviet Union took control of Kaunas, the church was used as an art gallery due to the significance of its architectural design.
Visitors can tour the cathedral's treasures, such as the balanced crosses, elaborate stained glass windows, ornate altar, and catacombs.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Tours (French pronunciation: [tuʁ]) is a city in the centre-west of France. It is the administrative centre of the Indre-et-Loire department and the largest city in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France (although it is not the capital, which is the region's second-largest city, Orléans). In 2012, the city of Tours had 134,978 inhabitants, and the population of the whole metropolitan area was 483,744.
Tours stands on the lower reaches of the Loire river, between Orléans and the Atlantic coast. The surrounding district, the traditional province of Touraine, is known for its wines, for the alleged perfection (as perceived by some speakers and for historical reasons) of its local spoken French, and for the Battle of Tours (732). The city is also the end-point of the annual Paris–Tours cycle race.
