The Cherry Blossoms of Ikegami Honmonji - Tokyo - 池上本門寺 - 4K Ultra HD
Erected where the Japanese Saint Nichiren supposedly died in 1282, Ikegami Honmon-ji has since been the administrative headquarters, as well as the training and living quarters, of the Nichiren Shu followers. It’s also a famous cherry blossom spot around the amazing temple and pagoda.
Located on top of a hill within Tokyo’s Ota ward, Ikegami Honmon-ji features many temples and other cultural attractions that are worth checking when visiting Tokyo. Among these attractions you will find the Statue of Saint Nichiren, the Choeido Temple, the grave and bust of Rikidozan, the father of Japanese professional wrestling during the Showa period, a magnificent five-storied pagoda built in 1608, the majestic Ikegami Honmon-ji main hall or Daibo and finally the Tahoto, a large two-story red pagoda located on the west side of the main temple.

Hi everyone! We wanted to share with you guys our time in Japan. This is part 1! Part 2 will have a surprise :D
Japan is seriously one of the best places to visit in the world. The people are so generous, kind, and respectful. It is definitely crowded but organized; it's a strange thing hahaha. The public restrooms are to die for. My man accidentally used the bidet...and he can never go back to the US toilets.
We went during Sakura season! The sakuras (cherry blossoms) were BEAUTIFULLL! The pedals are very delicate and easily blows with the wind so while viewing sakuras, you would see the pedals falling from the sky. It was breathtaking. Actually, the street food was. I was that bird in fruity loops, following my nose wherever it goes cuz the damn street food was bomb! Esp. the desserts! You have to try em all!
Although our feet was so tired from walking at least 10 hours a day, we wanted to make the most out of our trip. This vlog is only the 5th day. We were there for 2 weeks so there will be 3 parts to this vlog. I hope to see you guys in part 2, as this is taking me forever to edit tbh hahaha.

Inside a Japanese Share House in Ikebukuro, Tokyo (Sakura House)
On my recent trip to Japan in January, I decided to try out a share house. I reserved a month at Sunshine City Ikebukuro via Sakura House. Before reserving a private room at the share house, I wanted to see/know more about it.
How does the entire place look like? How's the surrounding areas? Is it safe? How big exactly is the kitchen? Etc. Sakura House had a few pics of this on their website, but I just wanted more. So after reserving the place, I decided to provide exactly what I wanted to see before I reserved.
So I created a tour of the entire place, including the room I reserved, and a quick look of the surrounding area. Thus, this is the video I wish I saw before reserving. And actually, a video example I only hope to see other companies implement for those who want to reserve a place but want to see/know more.

It's aaalmost sakura/cherry-blossom time here in Japan, and to celebrate this, Asahi Beer has changed their usual silver coloured beer cans into sakura themed cans, and as part of the fun, they also transformed the normally dull, grey and yellow Ueno Metro Station, into a bombardment of a pink sakura station, with sakura everywhere, and that's what I'm gonna show you in this little feature!
