Banshobana Park - Most beautiful place in Japan - (19 April 2015)
This is the Banshobana Park in Kagoshima, Japan.
Many people enjoy fishing and swimming in tide pool at the park in summer.
(Most Beautiful Place in Japan)
During Edo period, Mr. Tadataka Ito praised this area as the most beautiful place in Japan. He is known as the first person who walked all parts of Japan and made the precise Japanese map. I had to memorize his name when I took Japanese history class in high school.
(Legend of Banshobana Park)
All Japanese children know the story of Mr. Taro Urashima.
In the story, He saved the turtle which was buried by local children at seashore. In return, the turtle takes Taro to the palace of dragon king.
The Banshobana Park is said to be the entrance to the palace of the dragon king under ocean.
(Kagoshima & Mr. Taro Urashima)
There are lots of legend stories of Urashima Taro in Kagoshima.
For example, there is an oldest well in Ibusuki City.
It is said that the well was at the garden of the palace and princess was using the well everyday.

Travelers costs peaceful atmosphere immersed in the footsteps stopped and looked tired at the sea from here. In more than 100 years ago, there was a huge explosion swallowed up the island, forced to leave the fate of the future, but the unpredictable whims of nature where there is only now just be calm only.

Japan Sakurajima Volcano Island (桜島火山旅行) Trip 2013
During our Kagoshima trip we visited Sakurajima volcano (桜島火山) island. It takes around 15 minutes with a ferry from Kagoshima port(鹿児島港). The main attraction on the island are the rivers of frozen lava which are part of the Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park It was very interesting to walk on the Nagisa Lava Trail There is even a public foot spa (足湯) with hot water in the begining with the lava trail. It was one of the our most beautiful experiences during the summer trip! Follow us on twitter:

Kagoshima, the southernmost of Kyushu Island and the southernmost part of the Japanese archipelago, is warm enough to cover temperatures as high as 10 degrees Celsius in the middle of winter. I first started my journey in Kagoshima City. The mountains of Sakurajima can be seen everywhere in Kagoshima City. This mountain is still an active volcano. If you take a boat from the city and cross the Kinko Bay Sea for about 15 minutes, you can go to Mount Sakurajima. The top of the mountain went up to the observatory because it could not get in and out. Here, you can see many of the mysterious rocks made of hardened lava. Some are like seals, others are like sphinxes, and their heads are like monkeys. In Sakurajima, small-scale eruptions occur almost daily, and occasionally large-scale eruptions occur. When the volcano erupted in 2013, the smoke of the ash rose to 5,000 meters. There have been no eruptions in recent months, but the smoke continues to grow in the crater. Sakurajima is one of the active volcanoes that are actively erupting in the world, and you can see unique volcanic terrain, so many volcano lovers look for it. We travel on volcanoes. I went to volcanoes in Iceland, Italy, Ethiopia and Patagonia. We love volcanoes. There was a massive volcanic eruption in 1914, some 100 years ago. At that time, the shrine stone gate buried with eruptive volcanic ash is still preserved. At that time, the ash rose as high as 7,000 meters, and houses were buried in ash, leaving only the roof. This stonemason is buried 2/3, and the height of the accumulated ash is 2m. It was originally an island, but at that time the lava flowed through the eruption and connected with the Osumi Peninsula. So, it was a big explosion. Volcano eruption is a familiar routine for residents living around the volcano Sakurajima. In the village near the summit there is a shelter to avoid stones from volcanic eruptions.

People are fishing in the harbor, and the child has caught something. Puffer fish! I missed it. The next person caught the palm-only meat. The meat seems to be caught a lot. Koishima Island is said to be famous for its sea fishing. I could easily see the fish swimming in front of my eyes. They are sorting the fish in a fishing boat that has returned from fishing. Heavy red prawns, white prawns, volcanoes and tortoises were caught. This is a luxury fish species, it's a snowball. I also call it Nodoguro (black neck). The inside is black. This is a very expensive fish. How many? One to three to four thousand won. When the fish comes in, the cat can taste the fish. However, it is the hawks that are the most welcoming of the kotoba. On the shore of Koshikishima there are many hawks. When the fishermen threw the meat into the sea, a flock of fish flocked to them. The gulls do not go away while the hawks are eating.

???? A quick tour of Kagoshima City Aquarium, which is located along the water, right next to the Sakurajima ferry terminal.
The aquarium opened in 1997 and has a total of seven floors. There is an emphasis on local marine life, and its main attraction - the massive Kuroshio Tank - holds fish of all sizes, including a giant whale shark.
Admission fee is 1500¥, a bit expensive, but well worth it.
However, you can watch this video for free. - Enjoy! :-)
