Are you going to Samara and thinking what to see there ?
In this video I would like to show Samara Art Museum.
To see this museum will be interesting at least from facade point of view, I mean the building itself.
The architecture of this building is quite interesting and differs from neighboring buildings.
This building is more than 100 years old and has own history.
If you like art - then also I would recomment to visit museum as well.
The collection of the museum has more than 35 thousand exhibits, from the end of 16 to the beginning of the 21st century.
The museum stores the works of the great masters of Russian art, such as Aivazovsky, Repin, Bryullov, Shishkin, etc.

Samara inside out - Sadovaya st.
Samara is the large city in The Russian Federation. Standing on the Volga river left bank in the middle part of Russia. Samara is a high - contrast town. A big city turns to a small town in center. Its historical center holds exclusive and authentic character.
The quarters of old town of Samara have the ideal geometry points. It helps to measure the distances and open spaces. It points to driving and walking directions – from south to north, from west to east, from Volga river to Samara river. The growth of the built-up area was created by strict town planning controls. Samara’s buildings are too diverse to be characterized by any particular architectural style. There are no the same buildings in the streets. Woody houses had deep groovy carving windows and doors. Brick and stone buildings had expensive exterior items. But getting cheap home care services today. And now some of the landscape has changing in so a little time.
Episode 4. Walking on Sadovaya street in Old town in Samara. Every russian town has the street named Sadovaya (Garden). A Samara street is a typical mix of all street stereotypes. In the beginning, there have been many poor houses at the golden land near Samara river bank. In the end there have been several houses and the most expensive flats. Along the street you can see ancient synagogue, the most unusual military commissariat, the most respectable kindergarten, Samara regional studies museum, one of the oldest russian pasta factories, Valerian Kuibyshev's flat and others.

Are you going to Samara and thinking what to see there ?
In this video I would like to show Leningradskaya steet (or Leningradka).
Sometimes this street is also named Samarskiy Arbat.
It is one of the popular place in Samara.
Initialy there was a market, where you were able to buy a lot of things.
Nowadays it is a pedestrian street in the heart of the historical part of the city.
Here you can find a lot of small shops with souvenirs, clothes and so on that located in beautiful historic buildings.
Also if you are hungry you can easily find place to eat.
For your convenience, there is a lot of cafe's, restaurants and etcetera.
On the weekend you can find a lot of performance and shows on this street.
The street musicians, animators and artists very like to act on this street.

Interest in history unites Russians, Costa Ricans, Serbs at Stalin bunker
(17 Jun 2018) Football fans in Russia took a moment to explore Samara's history and took a tour of Josef Stalin's bunker on Saturday, ahead of Costa Rica's match against Serbia the day after.
During WWII, the Soviet government was evacuated to Samara (then Kuibyshev) and the bunker was built in 1942.
It was one of many alternative headquarters for Soviet leader and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Stalin.
Constructed by Moscow metro workers, it is a 37-metre deep multi-storey building with elevators that was supposed to stay fully autonomous for five days.
It could withstand a direct hit of the biggest air bomb of that time.
A conference room for 115 people and a personal room for Stalin were built in the lower floor.
Rooms for Stalin's security people, storage and technical equipment were on higher floors.
The bunker was declassified in 1991 and has been among Samara's popular sights since then.
It is located under the Academy of Culture and Arts which used to be local government building during Soviet times.
