Places to see in ( Sant Cugat del Valles - Spain )
Sant Cugat del Vallès is a town and municipality north of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. Known as Castrum Octavianum in antiquity, Sant Cugat del Valles is named after Saint Cucuphas, who is said to have been martyred on the spot now occupied by its medieval monastery. The final part of Sant Cugat del Valles toponym, del Vallès, is a reference to the historical county where the town is situated, Vallès.
Sant Cugat del Valles has become an affluent suburb of Barcelona due to its location (only 20 kilometres from the city), Sant Cugat del Valles natural surroundings, and its pedestrian shopping area. Sant Cugat del Valles also offers restaurants, a concert venue, two cinemas, and one large shopping centre. It is also a political stronghold for conservative Catalan nationalism, with Convergència i Unió dominating the town's politics. Sant Cugat del Valles has seen its population increase in recent years, with more births than bigger cities like Barcelona (2004). Sant Cugat del Valles has its own train station with a direct metro connection into Barcelona city centre and the nearby industrial cities of Terrassa and Sabadell.

Places to see in ( Sabadell - Spain )
Sabadell is the second largest city in the comarca of the Vallès Occidental in Catalonia, Spain. Sabadell is in the south of the comarca, on the River Ripoll, 20 km north of Barcelona. Sabadell is located 190 m (620 ft) above sea level and is the co-capital of the comarca.
Sabadell pioneered the Industrial Revolution in Catalonia with its textile mills, together with its archrival Terrassa. Thus, in the mid 19th century, it became the most important wool city in Spain, being nicknamed the Catalan Manchester. Even today many mills from that period can still be seen, with most of them having been refurbished as residential buildings or other services. Nowadays Sabadell is basically a commercial and industrial city: there are no significant agricultural activities.
Sabadell is an important communications point. Two motorways run beside the city: the C-58 (from Barcelona to Manresa) and the AP-7 (from France and Girona to Tarragona, Valencia and Andalusia), and some roads link Sabadell with nearby cities and towns: Terrassa, Sant Quirze del Vallès, Castellar del Vallès, Granollers, Barberà del Vallès, Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Rubí, Sentmenat and Molins de Rei. A railroad line crosses the city (the Rodalies Barcelona line from Barcelona to Lleida) and another one terminates in the city (the FGC line from Barcelona to Sabadell via Sant Cugat del Vallès).

During the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, Sabadell was one of the cities where the football competition took place. The matches were played in the Nova Creu Alta stadium, which is also home to one of the most significant of the city’s clubs: Centre d'Esports Sabadell. This local team, currently in the Segunda División B where they compete in Group 3, has played 14 seasons in the Primera División (First Division), once in the UEFA Cup and has even reached the final of the Copa del Rey.

Places to see in ( Metz - France ) Saint Maximin
The church Saint - Maximin is a catholic church located near the Lutheran Temple in the district of the Old Town in Metz in Moselle . It is placed under the name of Bishop Maximin of Trier , who died in 347. The Romanesque church is located in the district Outre - Seille , 68 rue Mazelle.
The construction of this church Romanesque dated xii th century xv th century. The choir, the transept and square tower of the xii th century are an important testimony of the Romanesque period. The nave dates from the xv th century. In the southern transept, the chapel of Louve and Gournay dates from 1365, a gift of Poinsignon Dieu Amy. The young Jacques-Benigne Bossuet pronounced on October 24, 1658, one of the first funeral orations, that of Henry de Gournay. A baroque portal replaces in 1753 the first ogival door
The church houses the only known stained glass windows designed by Jean Cocteau; the stained glass windows were put in place at the end of the 1960s according to cartons from 1962. The stained glass work by Jean Cocteau in Metz is undoubtedly his last great masterpiece substantially completed posthumously since died October 11, 1963. It Edouard Dermit , his adopted son who will ensure the full implementation of the project designed by Jean Cocteau.
The most convincing message signified by central stained glass seems to be that of immortality. Obviously, if Cocteau has made the two characters appear so clearly in this axial stained glass (the praying and his double), we can not ignore and ignore the content of their invocation to know the faith in immortality. Moreover, it is this same immortality that any artist seeks through his work whose goal would be to create a work that succeeds him. Jean Cocteau himself, making this last creation the most important before his death, had to think about it all the time. He did not stop his life during his use of mythology and in particular the character of Orphée to bring back to life the dear ones and make them even immortal. Regarding the Orphée filmfrom 1950, it is said in particular in the blog The Eye on the Screen : Jean Cocteau transposes the myth of Orpheus to the present time ... The man is saved, Death dies, it is the myth of immortality. ' .
