SkyPark at Santa's Village is an outdoor adventure Park with year-round mountain bike trails and winter-themed amusement park in the Skyforest section of Lake Arrowhead, California. It is on 230 acres of natural forest. At the core of the park is Santa's Village, which includes historic log cabin restaurants and shops, character experiences, and North Pole-themed attractions. SkyPark has year-round mountain bike trails, hiking trails, fly fishing, archery, ziplines, ice skating or roller skating rink, and rock climbing. There is also an conservation program which includes the Henck Meadowlands Conservation Trail, Guided Conservation Hikes, and Outdoor Educational Programs for school-age children. 30 acres of the park have been preserved in their pristine condition to remain unused by the guests. SkyPark at Santa's Village opened on December 2nd, 2016. The previous Santa's Village was opened in May, 1955. It was the first franchised amusement park, one of three built by developer Glenn Holland. The others, also defunct, were in Scotts Valley, California and East Dundee, Illinois. The East Dundee park reopened in 2011 under new ownership as Santa's Village AZoosment Park. Opening more than a month before Disneyland, the 220-acre park was one of Southern California's biggest tourist attractions. It had kiddie rides, including a bobsled, monorail, and Ferris wheel. It also had a petting zoo, live reindeer and shops including a bakery, candy kitchen and toy shop. Reduced attendance and revenue shortfalls caused the park to close on March 1, 1998. The property sold three years later for $5.6 million, and served as a staging area for logging operations. The faded candy cane signpost and dilapidated buildings became a ghost town along the Rim of the World Highway.In June 2014 the park was sold to a new owner who planned to operate it as a year-round tourist destination called SkyPark at Santa's Village. After renovations of 18 original Santa's Village buildings and restoration projects in the surrounding forest, it reopened as an outdoor adventure park: SkyPark at Santa's Village, on December 2, 2016.

Hey Coaster Fanatics, This is my HD front seat on ride POV and review of Super Cyclone. The Interpark steel coaster at Santa's Village Azoosment Park. Super Cyclone has a max height of 33 feet, a top speed of 30 mph on 1,148 feet for a total duration of 1 minute and 20 seconds. This coaster Is not a very good coaster at all. Just too many trim brakes!!!! Enjoy the ride. Here is the special experience of an Outlaw Treatment Wacky Worm! I don't know why this hasn't been uploaded yet, lol. Basically, Outlaw Treatment is when the ride op pushes every car as the train dispatches, and if you're in the back row, you get a pop of ejector air on a Wacky Worm.

Super Cyclone Review Off-Ride Santa's Village AZoosment Park East Dundee, IL 7-23-17

L. Michelle enjoyed the new Super Cyclone roller coaster! We sat in the back row, which doesn't offer much of a view, but it was still a fun ride! There's a trim brake before the last dip, which is kind of rough and abrupt, but it was still enjoyable overall!

Santa’s Village 2019

We rented a cottage in Bracebridge, Ontario for a couple of days and took the boys to Santa’s Village. As you can see, they had a blast! It was such a fun and whimsical place. I can’t wait to take them again in the future!

Wildcat Closed New Roller Coaster Santa's Village AZoosment Park 9-13-14

A couple of my coaster buddies, Jeremy and David, rode Wildcat a couple weeks ago, which inspired me to get to Santa's Village while Great America is closed and setting up for Fright Fest. I remember Ryan and I driving up to the park like Wow! It's so close to the street! It's a new one for us! When we got to the ticket booth, the sign said it was closed this weekend and sorry for the inconvenience. We decided to still check out the park, but it was a tease and a bummer to see this closed all day. I had no idea it wouldn't be open. One. That was all I wanted. One ride. Though we would have had more...But then we wouldn't have had the fun day we had, so, like my late father once told me, Everything you've ever done brings you to where you are right now. So, I'll take it! Keep watching! More great vids on the way!
