San Gennaro Festival, Flagler Beach
The San Gennaro Festival and Craft Show is this weekend, September 12 and 13th! It’s going to be at the Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church located at 915 N. Central Avenue right in Flagler Beach!
The craft show is from 10-5pm on both Friday and Saturday. Friday at 4pm starts the service and procession, then an authentic spaghetti dinner and karaoke wrap up the night from 6-9!
Then on Saturday, along with the craftshow at 10am, there is also a festival going on until 4, and the Mass and Closing ceremony are at 5pm. Dinner and karaoke tickets are $10, Festival food tickets are a dollar a piece, and a craft show table rental is only $25!
Music, food, and entertainment will include Bada bingo, bocce, a gravy sauce contest, a petting zoo, and a Lil’ Miss and Mr. San Gennaro Contest! Bring the whole family and enjoy the day, Italian Style! We’ll see you there!

Reconciliation Weekend - March 30 & 31, 2012 - SPA
Archbishop Thomas Wenski has designated the weekend of March 30 & 31 as Reconciliation Weekend. Thirty-six parishes within the Archdiocese of Miami will participate in providing the opportunity for thousands of people to receive the Sacrament of Penance.
This Weekend of Reconciliation is not meant to replace scheduled celebrations of the Rite of Reconciliation in our parishes but rather to make this Sacrament of God's mercy more available to our people, said Archbishop Wenski.
The schedule for Confessions at the specified churches is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 30, and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 31.

Misa por RCTV realizada en Miami, Florida, el Sábado 24 de Marzo de 2007.
A pesar del cambio de horario, ya que la misa se realizó a las 5:00 pm y no a las 4:00 pm como se había anunciado, a pesar de la lluvia, y a persar de que a las 6:00 pm un conocido cuatrista venezolano tenía programado un concierto en otro sitio de la ciudad, se llevó a cabo con éxito la Misa en la Iglesia San Juan Bosco de la latina ciudad de Miami, al Sur de la Florida, a fin de protestar por el cierre de RCTV y pedirle a Dios por la Libertad de Expresión en Venezuela y por la Democracia.
Rafael Adrianza, Presidente de FUNDAVEN, fué el organizador de esta Misa, la cual se hizo posible gracias a la colaboración de las siguientes organizaciones y personalidades:
