Sapporo is LIT fam. After visiting Sapporo, it's deffos in my top 3 facorite cities in Japan for sure. If anyone is in Japan during the winter season, I highly recommend you to go to Sapporo for a few days. There is honestly so much to do and see! So anyway, in this vlog we went to Community Dome Tsudome where there were these awesome snow and ice rides. Seriously so much fun!!!! So anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this vlog and please give it up a thumbs up - it makes me happy happy!

【4K】Sapporo Tsu-dome walk
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Tsu-dome is the third place related to Snow festival besides Susukino and Oodori. It's a bit far from the center but there are direct buses going from Susukino and Oodori to Tsu-dome.
Tsu-dome is a bit different, it's not about looking around but more about action. Also it's more children oriented. It has as outdoor activities as indoor. You can ride down from different hills, carve your own cup out of ice, play snowballs and just dig into snow.
Be careful it get closed at 5pm and some food stalls start closing from 4pm.
At first I did not understand that Tsudome is partially English, so I pronounced it as romaji ツドメ.

*The Sapporo Snow Festival, one of Japan's largest winter events, attracts a growing number of visitors from Japan and abroad every year. Every winter, about two million people come to Sapporo to see a large number of splendid snow and ice sculptures lining Odori Park, the grounds at Community Dome Tsudome, and along the main street in Susukino. During the festival in February, Sapporo is turned into a winter dreamland of crystal-like ice and white snow.

Tsu dome is another Sapporo Yuki matsuri site with sculptures and food.
I may mute sound because of background music copyright problems. If I dont do that streamming can be blocked by Youtube and I will be banned from streamming for 90 days.
Using Low Latency which has around 15 sec lag.

4K archive of this live event will be uploaded about same day but 1 hour video takes up to a week to be processed by Youtube to full 4K quality. So be patient and check .

A cidade de Sapporo, em Hokkaido, no norte do Japão, sediou a 63ª edição do seu tradicional Festival da Neve. Centenas de esculturas de neve e gelo, algumas medindo dez metros de altura, estão sendo construídas por artistas japoneses e estrangeiros.
Hokkaido é um agradável destino no verão, quando seus campos estão floridos e sua paisagem campestre atrai turistas em busca de esportes de ação como rafting, mountain bike, paragliding e escaladas. No entanto, é no inverno que a maior e mais setentrional província japonesa faz sua fama. Os resorts de esqui de Furano e Niseko possuem excelente infraestrutura e algumas das melhores pistas do mundo, com sua neve seca e fofa. Quando os levíssimos flocos levados pelo vento refletem a luz do sol ocorre o fenômeno diamond dust, o pó de diamante, com o céu azul inteiro brilhando. É quase alucinógeno, mas tudo dentro da legalidade.
A mais famosa atração de Sapporo, e de toda província de Hokkaido, no entanto, é mesmo o Festival da Neve. Inspiração direta do Ice Hotel da Suécia e de outros eventos semelhantes, como o de Harbin, na China, ele atrai cerca de 2 milhões de visitantes a cada edição. Este ano o festival ocorreu entre 6 e 12 de fevereiro, em três locais: na avenida Odori Koen, nas ruas do distrito deSusukino e junto ao Sapporo Community Dome.

Continuing with the Snow Festival activities, we took a bus from the Odori Park site to the Tsu Dome site. This site had activities aimed towards families and we felt a little bit out of place there. None the less, the snow sculptures made by locals were amazing.

Dominic&Matteo on another adventure in Japan! This time for the 70th Sapporo Snow Festival!
This is Part I of the Tsudome site. The first snow festival site they visited! There are three sites to visit during the Snow Festival. Tsudome Site is fun for the kids and adults to play in the snow! There is also an indoor food court, marketplace, carnival games and inflatable fun to get out from the cold, cold, cold snow!
Stay tuned for the other two sites that Dominic&Matteo visited: Susukino Iceworld and Odori Park!
