Sarakiniko beach is perhaps the most beautiful beach in the area of Parga. It is 9km away from Parga, if you turn from the main road to the beach near the village of Anthousa or it's 11km from the village of Agia. The road to the beach from the highway is 5km long, winding and it is necessary to drive cautiously. Light and somewhat strenuous ride pays off, because Sarakiniko is a really beautiful beach. You can reach it by boat or speed boat from Parga. Price is 11e in both directions per person, regardless of whether you come by boat or speedboat. Slow boat ride takes 20-30 minutes and 10-15 minutes takes by speed boat. Departure from the port of Parga is at 11 am and return is in the afternoon at 17h.

Sarakiniko beach Greece 9/2017.
Sarakiniko plaza je jedna od najlepsih plaza u okolini Parge, od koje je udaljena oko 9km. Put od magistrale do plaze je los i uzak (oko 4-5km) , ima puno rupa i krivina, pa je potrebna malo opreznija voznja. Na kraju voznja se isplati jer je plaza prelepa, uredjena je, na njoj se nalaze dve taverne i jedan kafic. Voda je kristalno bistra i idealno je za ljude koji vole da rone. Mi smo bili u septembru i nije bilo guzve, na plazi postoji parking koji se ne placa.

Mesmerizing SARAKINIKO beach: Must-see beach in Parga!
SARAKINIKO BEACH is something that you must must muuuust see if you ever visit Parga (if you've already been in Parga, I hope that you've visited this beach)! Ok, to be honest, beach as a beach (although very finely organized) is nothing special, but the color of the water is a fascinating, enchanting, mesmerizingly turquoise- just the way I love it!:)
Sarakiniko beach is situated some 12km from Parga, and perhaps the easiest way to get there is by the boat (we paid 11 or 12 euros for the return ticket). The boat starts at 11am from the small yet cute port of Parga, and returns in the late afternoon hours...

Exotic beauty and unique natural treasures on an island that is unlike any you’ve ever seen before
Get to know the most exotic island in the Aegean. The island where the Venus de Milo was discovered, and one of the most impressive islands in the Cyclades. Volcanic rocks paint the beaches red, pink and orange. Sarakiniko and Kleftiko, with their white rock formations, emerald green waters and caves eroded by the sea, are steeped in stories of pirates. The catacombs, the exotic beaches, the multicoloured Klima, Emborios and Mandrakia, with their quaint buildings cut into the cliffs, and Plaka’s sunsets... In pirates’ caves
Kleftiko, Papafragas, Sarakiniko, Katergo… The formidable pirates of the Middle Ages had their hideouts in Milos. Traces of their existence can be found in Kleftiko, where the pirates’ bollards for their ships can be found sculpted on the spectacular rocks, beside blue-green water next to the caves. In Sarakiniko, the landscape is from another world: all-white rocks in mesmerising shapes dominate the cove. Get lost in the deep blue of the Aegean and feel nature embrace you.
Little Venice
In the afternoon take a stroll in the quaint, colourful hamlet above the water, where the old port of Ancient Milos used to be. It is one of the most unique towns you’ll encounter in the Cyclades. What makes it special? The 35 sirmata in a row – cave-like structures that used to store boats and are now holiday homes. Wander around the little town, level with the water, and wait for the sunset.
