Cherry blossoms around Sasayama castle ruins in Japan
800 Cherry Blossoms In Bloom At The Tamba Sasayama Cherry Blossom Festival
The Tamba Sasayama Cherry Blossom Festival is held during the second weekend of April, when the cherry blossoms decorate the castle town with Sasayama Castle at its center, at Sasayama Castle Sannomaru Square.
A pleasure of Tamba Sasayama is matching your spirit with the approximately 800 cheerful Yoshino cherry blossoms. Indulge in food before flowers! From menus that use special products such as hanami (flower viewing) lunch boxes, Sasayama beef and wild boar meat from well-known Sasayama stores, local sake, tea ceremonies where you can appreciate Tamba Sasayama tea, to sweets such as sakuramochi (bean paste rice cakes wrapped in a preserved cherry leaf) from well-established Japanese and Western confectionaries.

Sasayama Castle Ruins: Sasayama Series Part 3
For the third installment of the Sasayama Series, I've headed down to arguably the most famous spot in my town - the castle ruins. In fact, the whole town developed as a castle town and certain sections have been preserved and awarded a national Traditional Architectures Preservation District designation. (More on this in a later video.)
Enjoy!

Come with Me to Sasayama, Japan
This is a video about the small town where I live. It was made for the JET Program Video Contest.
But it's also just a fun look at this place I call home. I had a blast recording all the good friends I've made here and making something cool out of it ^.^
This was the first time I used lightworks editing software 0.0

Takeda Castle Ruins | Japan | Best Things to See
Takeda Castle (竹田城跡, Takedajō-seki) is a ruined castle in Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture, that is also known as the castle floating in the sky because of the way it appears to be floating on a sea of clouds on foggy autumn mornings.

Sasayama City: Seeing What's In The Countryside
It was a nice day so I left The O (Osaka) and took a trip to the countryside. Being the castle fanatic that I am, I went on a search for one, and I found a ruins that had a hall restored. It was a little far from the station, but they had bus service.
